Works well in cocktails that call for egg white.
Egg White Protein Powder 8Oz Pasteurized No Additives, High Protein, Gluten-Free Ideal for Baking and Cooking, Unflavored 227GFirst impressions: Nice pouch full of white powder. A scoop is included. There is little to no smell.Installation/setup: Mix with water to reconstitute.Final thoughts: I like to use egg white powder in my bar. Some alcohol drinks call for egg white and egg whites go bad very quickly so itâs impossible to keep real egg whites on hand. I donât drink every day and itâs usually evening before I decide to make a drink. Iâm not always in the mood to run to the store lol My favorite:The Pink LadyIngredients1 1/2 ounces gin1/2 ounce applejack1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice1/2 ounce grenadine1 small egg whiteMaraschino cherry, for garnishGather the ingredients. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, pour 1 1/2 ounces gin, 1/2 ounce applejack, 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1/2 ounce grenadine, and measure out 1/4 to 1/2 ounce of the egg white. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.âï¸1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality.âï¸âï¸ 2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.âï¸âï¸âï¸ 3 stars – It’s passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 4 stars – Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.

Tasteless dried egg whites
There are 7 servings of egg whites in this bag of powder, giving 25g of protein in each serving. For value, it puts this on par for price per portion with any other protein powder that I use.I like that this is a single ingredient source – just dried egg whites.I read some other reviews that mention bad smell or taste, but it tastes fine in smoothies and I can’t detect any odor.I would give this a 5th star if there was any record of third party testing of the ingredients.

Good stuff
Great for baking when you only want to use egg whites or for making protein shakes. Quality seems to be on par with any other egg white powder I’ve had.

Good choice for egg based protein
Good choice overall for egg based protein but this is an expensive way to get your protein in compared to other powders or compared to just actual bulk egg prices. But if you have a reason to specifically want egg based protein, this is a good choice.Tastes as expected, easy to blend the flavor into anything that you’d expect it to blend in with.Powder is pure and good quality. Bag was sealed and secure with tamper labels in place.

Strange flavor and smell
I read other reviews and was surprised to see so many positive comments. I tried this Talcufon Egg White Protein Powder and found it to be very unpleasant tasting. It had an odd sweetness to me that was unexpected and almost soured tasting. It also did not smell good in the pack, not that I was expecting powdered egg white to smell like much of anything, but I also wasn’t expecting it to smell gross, yet it did. I mixed it up exactly as it was on the instructions, but this stuff cooked weird and got chunky yet watery. If you are hiding it in a smoothie maybe it’s not bad but two scoops is a lot of powder. Based on the calories and protein I’m guessing it’s the equivalent of 6-7 egg whites, but the package doesn’t say that. If that’s not the case, then I’m not sure what else is driving those numbers up. I’m glad to see it worked out for others, but this is not something I would want to use again. I did not like it at all.

Versatile, fresh, no additives or fillers
This works really well for low carb baking or quick protein pancakes. It has no flavor at all so the sky’s the limit as far as what type of cuisine or dish you want to add this to. You can also add it to smoothies for a nice, frothy texture and added protein without adding any chalky or weird flavor to your smoothie. The powder is fine but is best incorporated into liquids with a handheld frother to avoid clumps.I really appreciate that the company didn’t add any preservatives, fillers, or flowing agents like maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, etc. It’s just egg white powder.

Egg white protein powder
This is ok mixed into my morning smoothies. I put a lot of stuff into my smoothies, including chocolate almond milk, avocado, peanut butter, spinach, cinnamon, coconut oil and cacao powder which might mask any taste this has. I kind of ordered this on a whim and didn’t know what to expect. It’s not bad and I like that it gives a serving of protein that I wouldn’t normally have in my smoothies otherwise.

If you need an egg based protien powder this one is not too bad
Just basic freeze dried egg white powder – nothing special about it that I can find. Each “serving” works out to the same protein total as six or so actual fresh egg whites. Has an bit of an off putting taste to it when mixed in to a shake as extra protein so you may just want to use it as an egg replacement or protein booster in baked goods as that would cover up the flavor a bit more.
