Helps with my tendonitis while sleeping
I recently had a flare up of tendonitis and my doctor suggested keeping my elbow in a more neutral position while I sleep. I have a tendency to curl my arm up tight under my pillow when I sleep and thatâs a hard habit to break. Wearing this applies a gentle amount of pressure that is comforting, but also reminds me to keep my arm a bit straighter while I sleep at night. Certainly has its place when youâre having issues with your elbow.

This is my review of the “Rakiie Elbow Compression Sleeve 2 Pack, High Elastic Elbow Brace for Tendonitis and Tennis Elbow for Women & Men, Elbow Sleeve for Tennis, Golfer, Badminton, Weightlifting, Elbow Support, Green M”The item like similar types of braces that I’ve purchased from other manufacturer’s is sold in a ziplock style plastic bag.I opened the ziplock style plastic bag and removed the elbow compression sleeve braces from the bag to try them out.I purchased medium and I found them to be a bit on the tight side. They should be tight but not too tight as to obstruct blood flow or be uncomfortable to wear.That being stated, I believe that I would fall between large and medium and having tried braces which were slightly larger in size (picking L) and having them move whenever I moved in them, I opted to get a medium.I would say that the compression part felt good along my elbow area. As it was a tight fit for me, I don’t see myself using this for more than a few hours while I’m awake in the day (I won’t be wearing it from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed as I can see it becoming uncomfortable).With this type of product, one needs to be very careful with the size. There is normally a sizing chart in the description but even following it can be problematic sometimes in my opinion.

This is a smart looking and well made compression sleeve for the elbow. However, the medium size sleeves feel a little tight on me. Generally comfortable to wear with good stretch and compression, and no rough parts to rub the skin, there is one small issue. My skin is quite sensitive and the small silicone anti-slip pads around the top of the sleeve irritate the skin on my right arm after a few minutes. I think this situation will improve when I use the next size up of this compression sleeve.Overall, these are quality compressions sleeves that look smart and provide good support of the elbow.Update: I have tried on the large compression sleeves and they are a good fit with no skin irritation. I have amended my rating to five stars.
