Redoing our living room with that maximalist celestial 90’s feel and this was perfect. It is not super thick like a true afghan throw, but has all the same staples as. It’s actually decently heavy which surprised me, but not quite as heavy as it’s size would lead to be believed. The colors are so rich and vibrant. I would certainly buy this again.

Beautiful, But Not All It Could Be
I used to own a throw blanket with this same reversable design back in the 1990s and early 2000s but over time, it got worn and I eventually gave it up. Thinking about it recently, I was pretty excited to see I could still get one here on Amazon so I ordered. The design is just as gorgeous as my original and the size is the same too. Since I purchased it mostly for decorative purposes, I’m quite happy with the blanket.But in reviewing and giving stars, I need to be honest and say the fibers used are thinner and overall lower quality than my old blanket, which was very think and very soft. This blanket is thinner and not very soft at all. I’m also wondering if the colors used to dye the fibers will last as long as they did in my first blanket, given that other materials are significantly inferior compared to my first blanket. I’m really not expecting this one to last 15 years like my old one did, even though I no longer have cats like I did back in the 90s.I’d say if like me you love the design and want it for decor reasons, go ahead and purchase. It may not last the ages but it really is as exquisite-looking as the images make it appear. But if you’re looking for something thick, warm, and soft against your skin, this isn’t the blanket for that. And probably not a first choice as a gift, either, unless you know the recipient cares more about looks than feel or durability.

I saw this bright throw from long ago, glad to find it! l love the bright colors, designs and fringes. It’s very close to the version I saw, maybe not quite as heavy, but beautiful! I had an issue with the first throw where threads came loose in the first week in quite a few areas. I contacted AIVIA, Lee took my case first day, gave great instructions to wash again on gentle cycle and dried. The loose threads were still showing. I sent photos and Lee immediately took my order info and shipped a replacement! Wow!! I am impressed! I hope for years of enjoyment with this! Right now, it sits on top my bed looking vibrant! It is what I was hoping for! Great company too!
