A great thing for your hineey!!
I love this cushion! I have had problems with my tail bone hitting the toilet seat since I have had a huge weight loss happen and I don’t have any natural padding back there. My old seat cushion actually had indents from my tail bone on it after I sat on it and I would get pain from sitting on it and dreaded having to use the toilet because of that. This cushion has totally changed all that and I can easily and comfortably sit on the toilet without getting pain from my tail bone hitting the seat. This is a godsend and it is very easy to attach to your toilet seat. The price is very worth it also and I’m glad I tried it. I had tried several other so-called “padded” seats and they weren’t very padded at all and cost too much and didn’t stay very padded very long. Don’t hesitate to get this one if you need additional padding on your toilet seat. And I love the extra height it gives you when you sit on it! Now I can enjoy sitting on the ole porcelain throne!!!!!

Great idea, total fail in execution
I recently had hip replacement surgery and thought this would be a good addition for the other adjustments I’ve made to my bathroom to make things easier during my recovery. I think it may have set me back a week emotionally. Set up, using it, and then taking it off all posed challenges.It was hard to maneuver the velcro to position this lift on the toilet seat. The height was good, the material it was made out of, a hard plastic that could possibly cut the back of your legs. Once set up, I tried using it. The opening to relieve yourself is about 1/4 the size of the toilet seat. The opening available on your toilet may be 10 inches, this is 2. Piss went everywhere, never mind trying to do anything more than that. Since I can’t return it, I will probably use it as a flotation device for rodents in my snapping turtle pond.Can’t recommend enough to stay away from this product.

Comfy, easy to use, and good value
Four stars. After using the fuzzy strap-on (much thinner) cushions on Mom’s bedside commode for several years, I opted for this, and I’m glad I did. The cushion seems to hold up well under her 150-lb weight, and fits well on the seat. The fasteners were plenty long – too long, as a matter of fact, for use on a commode seat (which is thinner than a standard toilet seat), so I cut about 1 1/2″ off of each strip.I also covered this cushion with 3″ wide stockinette material for added comfort (see the attached photo). Mom’s delicate skin sticks to vinyl and plastic, and the “peel-off” effect is very painful for her. The stockinette slides on fairly easily, so I can change it when necessary. This operation does involve cutting slits in the stockinette material to allow for the Velcro® fasteners to be used, but it’s not a big deal.Cleaning is easy – just a quick spray and wipedown with bubbly-foam bathroom cleaner does the trick.The only quibble I have is that the ends of the cushion are quite pointed, and Mom complained about some discomfort from that, but I just added another short layer of stockinette to compensate, and tucked the loose ends under the cushion to round it off. Problem solved. It’s basically a small design flaw that can be corrected, thus the 4-star rating.Overall, I consider this a good value for the price paid. I’d buy it again.

Not what I was hoping for
I am not a fan of this seat but we gave it a try. One issue we’ve had so far is that the opening for the flow or urine etc is very narrow. Still looking for something else. The price is very high considering the quality.

For an older person that wants a commode that is comfortable it is great
a lot of folks that need to use a commode don’t have much cushion anymore in their gluts. This cushion is a bit soft, but then that is what was required. For an older person that wants a commode that is comfortable it is great. My mother needed it. They DO crack after a couple of years, but then you just buy a new one.

Not a useable product.
The velcro straps failed within one day and the second you sit on it, it folds inwards so that you are effectively sealing off the toilet opening, defeating the purpose altogether, making it nearly impossible to void without it going all over the place. My husband is only 118 lbs, so it wasn’t a heavy weight issue. He went to adjust it, and the velcro strap ripped right out of the product, leaving a hole and we have to throw it away because now it cannot be kept clean with a gaping hole in it. I don’t return personal use items even though it was a complete failure, so I’m taking a full loss on the cost and have ordered a different product from someone else.

This is a little weird, but one can stretch it to fit the seat so the opening is not as small as it seems, and it was anabsolute relief for my mother with a broken back who had a hard time sitting. It’s easy to wipe clean, five stars

AMAZON: PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO BE SOLD! Inferior, unsafe product that caters to seniors and those with disabilities. THIS ITEM MAY CAUSE INJURY TO PEOPLE ALREADY SUFFERING. DO THE RIGHT THING AND REMOVE IT FROM THIS SITE.Looks like it was manufactured for three cents. Flimsy velcro attachments to not keep it properly secured to seat. The hole is too small for humans. This thing is a joke and obviously can’t be returned once used. Avoid.
