Early impression is good
I bought this for a very cold motorcycle trip coming up. The vest fits small and is huggy tight on me. I measured my chest before ordering to select the recommended size and was disappointed that it fits so very snug. It will work however and I plan to keep it. Aside from being snug it is very comfortable. The battery pocket keeps the battery out of the way & so far does not diminish the comfort. The power button has three settings for heat levels. I am impressed with how quickly the heat was perceptible once the power was pressed.This will fit under my leather jacket so the snug fit works to my advantage. The battery is fairly large offering what I hope is a reasonable number of hours of power. My trip is a week away so I’ll have a follow up review to share of use in different temperatures. I’ll be in everything from 20 degree weather to 50 degree, but with windchill factor considered while riding a motorcycle at 70 miles an hour the ‘Feel-like’ temp will be COLD indeed! I don’t expect the battery to last for the entire ride which will be 8+ hours, but hope I do get a reasonable life before having to recharge. I’m considering getting a 12v to 7.4v adapter to hard wire the vest to the motorcycle eliminating the need for the battery altogether. If I do so I’ll also share how that worked out.

Keeps shocking me
For the price it’s not bad, heats up nicely and it’s true to size, I’m usually a medium but got a large just so I can put a sweater underneath but I think a medium would also fit just fine if your not chubby. The quality is good, only cons is that the location that they put the battery pack is going towards your back, wish it was more on your front pocket area due to me having to take it off to unplug or plug it in. Next con would be that it keeps shocking me all the time when I use it or grab it when the battery pack is on it or if it is turned on. Couple other people used it and ordered it so I’m hoping it doesn’t shock them all the time. Maybe mine is just defective sadly I can’t return it due to the label removal so be warned.

Erratic, prematurely turns off, wonât come back on
This vest heats nicely when it is working properly. However, mine has started shutting itself down when the battery has drained down to about 75%. Nothing seems to correct this at this point⦠Plugging and unplugging, activating the on off switch repeatedly, all unsuccessful. This is a serious issue, at least with the vest that I received. Not too happy. ADDENDUM: This company responded to my review by replacing the vest promptly and without questioning. They did stand by their product. I am raising my rating to a 4 because of their excellent customer service. ADDENDUM #2: The replacement worked properly for about 45 days, then developed a problem that was apparently caused by an insecure connection to the battery. I spent a lot of time trying to McGyver around the problem, with rubber bands, tape, and so forthâ¦.all unsuccessful. I just threw the vest in the trash.

There are a few varieties of these heated jackets. The one thing I can guarantee is they all get hot. But maybe not evenly. For the price you are not risking much but it makes all the difference in the world for feeling warm in a cold garage, or even outside in negative temps with something over it, does the job!

Took a chance with the low price . Heating function work as expected. Fit was decent. Only complaint is zipper does not appear to be of good quality and gets stuck. Battery pack seems to last as advertised.
