Best “Some Assembly Required” Experience Ever
I bought this bookshelf for my craft room. My husband and I put this together in about half an hour. The directions are clear, and every piece is marked with a little sticker, so you know what you’re working with. The tiny pieces (dowels, screws, etc.) are individually packaged in a long strip, and labeled, so you are sure to know what you need for each step. They even include a packet of extra parts, in case you misplace any.The bookcase itself is heavy-duty and looks very nice for the price point. I wanted a rustic, folk-art look, and ordered the darker wood color. I have it just about full of books, and it still feels very sturdy. We didn’t have any trouble with missing pieces, damage to the wood or metal parts, scratches or dents, mis-aligned holes, or mistakes in the milling. This is a heavy piece of furniture, and so the package is heavy. If you’re not too muscular, you may need help getting it maneuvered around.

READ THIS REVIEW: Finally! A company that get’s how important it is to have everything fit together perfectly, look good and be very sturdy. I am over 50yrs old, female and I assembled this completely by myself in about 45 minutes. You MUST completely read the directions and it’s simple to assemble. Don’t just try to put it together or skim over the directions. You need to read them completely. It’s super sturdy and although it’s not like an Amish or high end piece of furniture, it’s pretty nice looking and has great storage for all of my books. Best assemble yourself item that I’ve ever purchased and everything fit together perfectly. If I ever need anything else, I’ll use this company and I’ll refer them….. and I rarely ever do that.

Attractive and sturdy
The bookcase was easy to assemble, with clear instructions and all the screws in the pieces lining up with the pre-drilled holes. I also liked that the backing slides into grooves, which makes the back more secure than using lots of little nails. The assembled bookcase is a nice solid piece, and the white can go anywhere.

Color wasnât what I expected
I have a brown crib in my nursery and was looking for this to go with. The reviews were awesome so I gave it a try even though I was nervous about the color matching. The pictures in the reviews showing the color varied a lot depending on the lighting. When it came I opened the end slightly and luckily a small square piece slid out without disturbing the packaging. The darker brown that I ordered was much more grey than I wanted. The packaging was nice and this looked heavy duty but I didnât get it all out. I returned this as it didnât match what I needed. I really wish they made a black one as most reviewers loved this product.
