Really Great, But…
For the money, this is a knockout product. It’s fairly sturdy, it looks nice, and the functionality is great! My roommate and I have been looking for a coffee table for a while and we are definitely satisfied with our choice!One issue I have with this is that building it was a huge hassle. The directions were not very clear, and the figures were very small regarding the pieces and how the screws were intended to fit together. Also, it isn’t technically required to use a power tool to build this but if you don’t have a drill, be prepared to get a SERIOUS arm/forearm workout as you will be screwing screws into the wood. The holes are started for you but they are not pre-cut, you will have to drive the screws into un-penetrated wood. Also, the angles at which you need to do this are a but ridiculous. It’s possible but VERY BLOODY DIFFICULT.Also, the tool that they provide for this is almost a joke. Like a serious “HAHAHAHA” joke. You would need hurculean strength to construct this coffee table using that little thing.Word to the wise, use a drill, even if it is a cheap one, it will be super helpful.Other than that, this product is a solid “bang-for-your-buck” purchase.

Worth the price
Ok Iâm giving it 4 stars because for the money it is worth it, very nice once put together, nothing fancy. BUT it was a pain to put together. Be careful putting on the legs especially because it is easy to break in the process. The top coming up and down is a bit flimsy, but for the price point I am not at all disappointed. Still very nice looking and convenient storage underneath. For small apartment living it is nice to have a pull up top because we do not have a kitchen table to eat. Multifunctional.

Nightmare
The table itself will be great I think. I wouldnât know because Iâve had it for 3 weeks now and still havenât been able to put it together because of missing parts. It started out it was missing 1 screw. Went to the hardware store and could not find one just right. Ok fine Iâll make it work without it. I had read someone reenforced theirs with brackets so I was going to do the same. Then I realize that one of the boards is cut wrong. Email support. They have me send pictures. Pictures sent. They will send the right board. Get the box in. No board. Just a box full of hardware that I donât need. At least Iâll have the one screw now (so I think, I didnât fit either). Emailed support again. Now Iâm still waiting for the board so I can put this table together. Shipping wasnât cheap on this item either. Which I understand. Thatâs the whole reason I havenât sent the whole thing back.Update- after reaching out for tracking a week later on the second request they claimed they did not have the part that they told me they shipped. I could either completely take apart and send back for refund or get $20 refund. I ended up ripping the hardware that was made into it leaving a huge hole. Drilled a new hole where it should have been and got the table together and functional. I have a piece of duct tape over the hole on the leg but at least I have a coffee table now.

Scratches/wear on the top part
There are visible scratches in the top part. Some parts were chipped off due to poor packing but fortunately those were on the inside storage part so not visible when it’s closed. But the wear scratches were on the top and visible. Assembly took long but it was straight forward. You have to use your own screw driver and wrench, the one that comes with it isn’t very efficient or effective.
