Life saver
I have bad back issues because I’m sitting at a desk for my job for 75% of the day. I can really feel the pain between my shoulderblades. After I started wearing this for a portion of the day, the pain is gone. It pulls your shoulders back slightly and it’s not uncomfortable at all. I’m 190lbs and the sizing chart makes it easy to select the right fit. It’s accurate. The Velcro sticks nicely and holds for several hours. I’ve never had to readjust it once I have it on. That’s nice because I wear it under a dress shirt and you can’t tell I’m wearing it. Discrete!

I ordered a TLSO brace, but shipping was going to take too long, so I ordered this to try in the interim. I suffered a compression fracture of my T5, which healed wrong, causing a deformity and also taking 2″ off my anterior height. It’s very painful for me to both stand and walk, and often to even sit, so I had to have something. This isn’t quite supportive enough for MY injury, but it does help quite a bit and is the most supportive of any other brand of this type that I’ve tried. Most thoracic fractures are T12 or lower, so my T5 fracture is very uncommon. Thus, I don’t think there’s anything negative about this brace at all. As I said, it’s the best of any brand I’ve tried, and I think it’s because it has two long metal strips going down the back and two shorter ones along the sides, offering much more support. That may make it sound uncomfortable, but it amazingly isn’t at all. It also doesn’t require someone else to help you put it on after it’s been adjusted to your personal fit either, which most rigid TLSO braces do. I think Fit Geno put a lot more thought into the design of this brace than other companies. Most just have thicker material or magnets and neither type was of benefit to me. I had to walk a good distance from street parking on another block to my doctor and PT appointments just a few days ago. Normally, I would’ve been in terrible pain before even getting there, but this brace made a huge difference. Normally, I wouldn’t be able to sit in a regular chair afterward either because the pain would be so bad that I had to lie down, but my pain was greatly reduced and made it possible to sit without the pain becoming any worse. This brace is pretty decent for me, so it may be perfect for people with different injuries. If your injury is farther down than the T5, since that is not common at all, this may work just fine for you. I’d recommend giving it a shot, as it is much less expensive than the rigid TLSO braces, and much more comfortable, too! This isn’t labeled as a TLSO brace, so I’m not trying to say that it is. I’m just saying that it’s a pretty good substitute for one, and you may not even require that type of brace, so I would recommend it over any other brands that are labeled to do the same as this one. My injury is very uncommon in its location and not correctable since it healed wrong. If those two things don’t apply to you, then save yourself the time and trouble of ordering and having to return the wrong brace and just order this brace, period. Good luck. I hope this was helpful.

Awesome posture corrective assistant
Having used multiple other assist devices for bad posture, this item is amazing. Comfortable enough to wear doing house stuff. No way it can be worn with outdoor clothing, unless you’re hiking and do not care about the look.
Having spent months with a personal trainer for the back issue/posture, this is passive/aggressive product in all the right ways.

Unlike the ones you see on Instagram, this one actually has support ribs in the back that hold it in place by molding to your back. Doesn’t ride up or down if you put it on correctly, snugly to the curve of your back. You don’t have to pull the shoulder part very hard, just enough to feel your shoulders move into correct position. AND, this is big, it doesn’t pinch under your arms like others do. I wear it over a light t-shirt so I don’t get sweaty and sticky.
About a half hour a day of wear trains your muscles to stand straight, without any discomfort.

Helps with neck pain
This contraption is kind of big compared to other posture correctors. I bought the small, and although it fits me, it does like to shift upwards leaving my lower back exposed. I sit at a desk all day, and sometimes I get neck pain. When I put this brace on, my neck pain goes away. Aside from that, it helps keep my back straighter than without it. It does sometimes cause slight discomfort breathing though, because it’s pushing up against my chest. All in all, I think it does more good than bad.

I initially purchased the wrong size and sent it back, and subsequently ordered a size larger. I’m very tall, so even though the size I ordered was correct according to the sizing chart, the brace just rode too high on my torso and didn’t support my lower back. My new order surprisingly arrived the next day. Overall, the quality of the product seems good. I’ve been using the back brace for over a couple of weeks, increasing my time with the brace every day. I do a lot of computing, both sitting and standing at my desk, and the back brace not only gives me support, but encourages better posture. I’ve also noticed that my back is more ârelaxedâ when I go to bed at night, so it seems to be working for me.
