Easy instructions, Quality product!
So far I’m very impressed! My two 9-year-old Cats I adopted 2 years ago, already understand me quite a bit. I feel spending time training to use fluent pet and, my girls being able to express themselves, will further build our bond.

Great for a smart pup!
Easy to use and great results. We eventually had to take it off the floor bc of over use! Fantastic purchase ð

Small buttons
While the sound is good, the buttons are small. Not ideal for a large breed dog.

Very expensive and not totally reliable
Iâm so glad I only purchased the 2-pack of these buttons. Iâve seen the creators videos of her dog using buttons and was totally influenced to buy âherâ buttons. However, these are insanely expensive compared to other options AND theyâre somewhat unreliable. Let me de-influence you.We currently have âoutsideâ and âtreatâ as the words because I felt that would be the best place to start since we can immediately model the words once pressed and my dog is not food motivated so be wouldnât go crazy with the âtreatâ button.Even when I sit on the floor and press the âtreatâ button, probably 20% of the time it does not work. Now I say *I* pressed it because this is not a case of the dog not applying enough pressure, itâs me repeatedly pressing it using the same pressure but sometimes it doesnât work.Itâs also very quiet. I am a relatively small woman, and if I walk by and press a button with my toe, the minuscule amount of extra force makes the button super quiet because the speaker is in the bottom. Do they have buttons now where the speaker is on top, or even connected to a âhome baseâ large speaker? Yes. Do they cost even more than these already overpriced buttons? Also yes.Could I have bought a cheaper set? For sure. Was I influenced by the videos that use these buttons and by the fact that the hextiles are so aesthetic? Sadly, yes.Overall somewhat glad my dog hasnât taken to using them because now I donât have to spend hundreds on these little buttons. Showing my dog, 15lbs, for scale next to the buttons. (I used my label maker to add the stickers, those are not the stickers that came with the pack)

Directions were easy to understand.
As my title states, the directions are easy to understand. The bad thing about this product is which tab to use first. My 3.5 month old pup took just two todays to pick up outside button.I would recomend this product.

Best Thing I Ever Did for my Dog Was to Buy These Buttons
I purchased this set 2 years ago and it changed everything for the better. I got this for my senior, 15 year old beagle about 5 months before she passed away (YES old dogs CAN learn new âtricksâ – though this isnât so much a trick as it is a way to communicate their needs). I continued with my next dog, and I have such an amazing relationship with him because he can advocate for himself, ask me for specific things that body language and barks alone wouldnât be able to specify. I now buy larger sets directly from the FluentPet website, but I love that they still sell these affordable starter sets on Amazon – and it looks like they offer even more options on Amazon than they did back when I ordered this set. I was searching today to see what they currently offered on Amazon, and to my surprise, I saw some comments people have left who are giving up quickly and saying theyâre going to return the set, and just some weird negative reviews. Since I never posted a review back when I purchased these, I figured itâs a good opportunity to tell you, as someone who is now fairly experienced in teaching my dog(s) how to use these buttons – it sometimes takes time! Donât give up on your pet. Just because they arenât pressing – it doesnât mean they are too dumb, or that they donât understand – they just havenât decided yet whether interacting with the buttons is worth their time and attention. Honestly, it takes, what, 2 extra seconds out of your day to keep modeling the word – they get it; they understand what youâre doing – and eventually, they WILL press the button. And at that moment, when they finally press their first button, you will see the potential for what you and your pet can do with this new world of communication they now have at their fingertips (err⦠pawtips)! I canât say enough good things about FluentPet, Iâm a huge supporter of this brand and the talking-pet movement, mainly because of the higher quality of life it offers our furry family members. Anyway, these buttons are good quality, the brand is reliable, customer service is super helpful, basically, Iâm a super fan here. If you can do one good thing for your pet today, BUY THESE BUTTONS. 🙂 I included a photo of the very first button for âoutsideâ that I gave my 15 year old beagle two years ago. I am never going back – my current pet and all of my future pets will have buttons. Just remember, be patient!

I love this trial pack!
Teaching my dog to use these buttons could be more challenging than I bargained for. I like not being committed to an entire set of buttons, when getting her to use ONE button might be asking for more work than I wish to invest. But saying that, I am invested in this and I hope that I can successfully train her to use them. Everything about the product itself is easy. They stay seated on the floor without sliding all over the place. I think the company who makes this is very invested in helping us to make it work. There are lots of training tools, suggestions, and even video instructions to help us. But . . . my dog is still her own person and how easy it will be and how well she will receive it is all up to her. I did try treat puzzles with my dog and she has mastered those, so I believe she will learn this too. The only negative thing I could say about the product itself is that I didn’t like my voice recording. Is it them or is it me? I dunno. I don’t have the most appealing voice. I would have preferred to have prerecorded buttons with just the very basic beginner commands like outside/potty, play, water, etc. Things that most people will start their training with. They do have preprinted stickers, so I think it’s not unreasonable to ask for perhaps 3-4 buttons that are prerecorded with nice voices instead of mine. Recording my voice was very easy. The hardest part will be training your dog!!

My dog has us trained. And here I am trying to train her. I think she is winning!
FluffyGardens –
Poor quality. All of the buttons are the older first generation model that has the speaker on the bottom and no holes on the top. That makes the volume quite faint. If I’d realized that I would not have ordered this set so I’m pretty disappointed. Also 3 of the buttons don’t work properly – the seem to have speaker issues and are more quiet and/or crackly. I do not recommend this set and I plan on returning it. For the price this feels like a rip off as the quality just isn’t there. I own the next generation buttons as well (the ones with the holes) and they are a lot better. But of course you can’t order a tile kit with those buttons on canadian amazon. Kind of wish I had no decided to go with fluent pet in the first place. I may look around for other products that are compatible with the buttons I have.

Great piece of kit.

I order this tester kit of 2 buttons as I wasn`t sure if our Labrador would be focused enough to use them.He pleasantly surprised me although 1 button we recorded “treat” & yes like a true Labrador he persistently pressed that button. It`s a shame however that despite searching the internet it appears that I am unable to purchase supplementary buttons. The only way I have found is to pay huge P&P from the USA.If I had realised this in the start, despite loving the FluentPet brand, I would have chosen a different brand that is readily available in the UK & doesn`t require being imported at an inflated cost to the customerA set of 12 was discounted toPURCHASE £91 from £114SHIPPING £44TAXES £27 Totalling £71 (buttons £91)

We love that our pup can let us know what she needs
