Let me start off by saying that cutting baby nails is the most anxiety inducing thing I do for my babyâ¦. So I purchased this not knowing what to expect! Oh boy this thing is a life saver⦠clips accurately without too much pushing or prodding itâs sharp enough and it has a little keyhole so you can see what youâre clipping- I threw my safety 1st clipper right out the window lol ⦠this is my go to now . Great kids nail clippers
I canât believe I slummed it for two years using safety first clippers. If youâre thinking to yourself: âtheyâre kids clippers, how different can they be?â Trust me, thereâs a difference. The actual clippers themselves are angled in a way that makes it easier to just line up the nail and clip while somehow staying away from the skin. Theyâre sharp, so you donât have to worry about pushing down super hard. The handle is easy to grip and move. The file is also unique and effective. I wish I had bought these years ago.

Quick, Easy and Sharp Cut
I tried using it where I could see the nail through the âlittle windowâ and although it worked, I found it a little tedious. It was much easier to do it a different way. It was hard to take pics to show since I needed one of my hands to take the pic. I found it was easier to hold my babys hand up (or each finger), pointing towards the sky. I then held the clippers straight up over her nail, to where the white hand piece was facing me (to where the window was not facing my direction). I hope this makes sense! It was quicker and easier this way, vs using it the way you would have to, in order to use the âwindowâ feature on them. The nail clippers are great. They cut quick and sharp (as in you barely have to push down on them). You can slide nail under the clippers to avoid nicking. They are easy to press down and cut much easier and quicker then others I have used. I did not use the file yet so have nothing to say about that. To me, the window feature is not that great. If your babies nails were really really long, then maybe this would help?? Regardless the clippers are great.

Great clippers for parents who are scared to cut their kids nails
This clippers are amazing. I was so scared to use clippers on our son as he is such a little mover and I didn’t want to chance cutting him. These clippers’ design basically makes that impossible! It made me feel so much better knowing I couldn’t accidentally take a piece of his finger off with these so he no longer has super long nails that he can scratch himself ( or us) with. Size isnât good for newborns
I can see this being a great nail clipper for toddlers, and kids. I wouldnât in any shape or form suggest this for newborns itâs way bigger than their tiny fingers. As a first time mom it ended in me accidentally clipping my baby girls finger tip. To each their own, and there are many who may not have had this experience. You just never know! If I couldâve avoided this situation i definitely would do what you will with that.
