My doggy loves it!
My boxer pit bull mix loves this bed! She’s about 60 lbs and she fits perfectly on this bed. All the fabric feels high quality especially the furry top of the bed. I can clearly tell she is comfortable because I have to pretty much beg her to get off it and come to bed.Overall quality is excellent. The pillow around the edge gets a lot of use and was pretty easy to put together especially if you have another person to help with the zippers.Time will tell how well it handles liquids but the memory foam pad is very nice and soft yet dense and supportive. I’m quite happy with this brand overall.

Great bed for the price
Bed is soft and my dogs love it, it is big enough for both of my dogs to lay on at the same time (they both weigh over 75 lbs). They used to avoid hanging out with my in my office before I got them this bed. Now they run in there and jump in their bed everytime I open the door. Only thing that could be a little bit better is the height of the raised borders, my dogs like to lay their heads on that area when they lay in the bed and I wish it were a little taller to support their necks better. Other than that the bed is amazing. It easily cleans up with a vacuum for day to day pet hair and dust. If you need to clean it further it comes apart fairly easy and you can drop it in the washing machine. Overall it is a great bed for large breed dogs.

Washed it & Suprise!!
We were happy with the quality, and 3 of 4 dogs (the 4th likes deep donut beds) grab this spot whenever itâs open. Given a chance they will walk right past the other also new beds. The cushion is a nice soft one, one I would not mind having as a floor pillow, plus the material is really soft, kinda get why they enjoy it so much! For our point of view- the bed is a pretty good quality, better than most of the beds we have had over the years. The big test was washing the cover. Ugh! SO many dog beds rendered useless by the washer (great washer, poor quality material/craftsmanship) ; However we washed in cold, laid out in the sun for an hour, or so each side, then finished laying flat to dry in the laundry room. (Laying in the sun no matters how hot/cold it is outside help to kill those germs that need dark & cause funky smells something I learned working at a high end grooming shop). Amazingly it neither fell apart, nor shrunk, plus it was pretty easy to put back together again! Not for sure how long it will last with 3 dogs (BIG dogs), but 2 months (and a couple washes) later it still looks, and feels brand new, so we are satisfied by our purchase.***Update – 17 months, and a good number of washes later – it is still in great shape, and still in use! We are amazed to say the least! We will never buy a 20-30 dollar dog bed again! :DIn short we DO recommend this bed, & we hope our review is helpful to you!

The bolster was not fiber-fill like all previous ones had been
This is the third FurHaven bed of this design (3-sided “couch”) I have purchased (along with it, I also purchased my third of the L-shaped “chaise” style – which came with everything as expected, no surprises). I am very familiar with their beds by now.I am less impressed with this one than any of my previous purchases. The bolster was not fiber-fill like all others had been. It is filled with torn-up foam pieces. When it first arrived and we unpacked everything, the bolster was so flat and crusty feeling, I was afraid it was unsalvagable. But, I did their suggested trick of putting it in the dryer with a wet cloth, and it did puff up. But. BUUUUUUT… it is super lumpy. And it has creases that will not go away, no matter how much massaging of the area or trying to reach in and “fluff” the foam in that area (if we can even reach it). The bolster also did not match the dimensions of the bed. I was able to cram it into the casing, and it sort of worked, but again: LUMPY. (yes, the bolster is upside down in the video I added to show the dimensions. It was an accident, but it does give a clearer idea of the lumps and creases, I think, since that’s the “flat” side)Now, my dog might not have minded the lumps – I dunno. She can be a bit of a Princess, and those lumps might be the proverbial pea under the mattress. Maybe not. But, I minded the lumps. I could see them through the casing.Luckily, I still had the fiber-fill bolster from the previous iteration of this bed. It’s a little flattened from use, but miles better than this lumpy bumpy foam nightmare. Also, “deep pool” is a sad sad colour. It is not the light/medium teal-ish colour that is in the pics. It’s a greyer/steel pale icy blue. Bummer, because a teal (or something close) was what I was aiming for, not icy steel blue. The “faux-fur” is not as good as in previous beds. It’s less dense, and more like extra-long velvet than anything. Minky, really. Cheap minky. My dog doesn’t seem to have any of the complaints that I do, so I’ll just keep it. They last about a year or two before the foam is just too indented from her weight to be comfortable, so… we’ll see what happens in about a year or two. Maybe I’ll order again, maybe I’ll try a new company.Overall, I have been happy with FurHaven beds. It’s just this one particular one that is a little “off” compared to their regular quality. So, 5 stars for usually being good stuff, but three stars for the foam fill and the off-colour… averaged together for four stars.

Cover was quite to remove and wash. Slightly difficult to put back on, but I’m not the most patient person 🙂 Well made. Orthapedic. and Very good price.

Very disappointed when I unpacked this bed and set it up. Bed arrived folded up in a box about the quarter of its size. Foam was so compressed that it didn’t fluff back up when taken out of packaging. Contacted Furhaven who said they were going to ship me new foam but when I said I was from Canada they told me to return it to Amazon for a refund. I guess they don’t want my business at all. Nice.

Brand new out of the box and zipper is broken.

We purchased this bed a month ago and one side has not expanded after removing it from the package. I have two medium sized dogs and was hoping they could both lie down on it. Only one of my dogs can lay on it due to this. I was expecting a top quality bed for the $200+ price tag. After registering the product I found out that The company that manufactures the bed will only take returns in the U.S.NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Pro: Definitely big enough for a greyhound!Cons: “Memory foam topping” isn’t really memory foam, just some soft foam, so I would suggest going with the standard “orthopedic foam” instead, if available, if you have a heavier dog, in case that would be a bit more supportive. Luckily my dog doesn’t seem to mind though. The fabric is also thin, so it tears very easily. Plus, since it’s polyester, it’s also static. I now have a wool blanket covering the bed so that it’s a bit nicer (and less likely to keep tearing).I would check the US website of these beds for a price comparison, just so you know what level of quality to expect (cheap). When I was buying this, the price range in German Amazon varied wildly, but you shouldn’t be paying anything crazy for these beds.Update: due to the thin and poor fabric, even with very minimal digging it rips easily and you’re likely to end up with some holes pretty quick. Even a part of the seam started tearing after a few months. Typical poor quality you usually see in any reasonably priced dog beds.
