This thing may be a sapphire chemically but it looks like a piece of gray quartz from the drive way. Not even remotely blue in any sense. Total waste of money

pretty good but has too much fracture. If you want a specimen its good for cutting not so much. it will be hard to get a useable stone out of it. still pretty good though.

Way too dark colored.
The chunk of stone was way too dark, it was hard to see it as blue. Since it was “color” enhanced I tried soaking it in rubbing alcohol over night. In the morning the alcohol was purple and I could see that the stone was actually blue.The stone also had one rough edge that was to see anything but rough rock, but that is how rocks are, no color really, just a dark rough surface.Didn’t look like the pictured rock at all, not shiny.
