Legendary healer Diane Stein shares her extensive knowledge of gemstones in this concise agate-to-zircon reference. Each listing includes the stone’s common name, its corresponding color and chakra, and a concise resume of its healing properties. Stein suggests ways to use stones to support physical and psychic well-being, by simply carrying one in a hand or pocket, wearing it as jewelry, or engaging in more advanced practices like the “laying on of stones.” She also presents a glossary of terms designed for beginning students of metaphysical healing practices, and teaches how to clear, dedicate, and maintain crystals to maximize their beneficial effects.

A quick reference to 550 gemstones and crystals (including many that are new to the marketplace), and their special healing properties and most helpful applications. Includes diagrams of the Kundalini (physical) and Hara Line (emotional) chakra healing systems for simplified cross-referencing with the stones. Diane Stein’s books have sold more than half a million copies and are available in six languages.

    Awesome!
I have been looking for a book like this for a long time. I have my own jewelry business and I use a lot of healing stones. It’s so helpful to have this book with me when ordering product or making new pieces. Very satisfied with this purchase!

    What an accurate title!
Diane Stein has done it again! This little reference guide has info I’ve found no where else about crystals. This is a delightful little book about our delightful Crystal Friends that anyone who loves working with and living with Crystals will truly enjoy. Thank you Diane, for this wonderful handy reference to our healing Crystal friends!

    Fell a bit short
This book was acceptable, but after comparing the info to notes I had already taken on various crystals and minerals, it seemed there was a lot of repetition on what they were all good for. Granted, maybe that’s just the way it is, but I was looking for information that would clearly set apart one from another so I could know which ones best to add to my collection. One big bonus was the beginning of the book that explains how people get confused about stones and crystals, various names, true origins, fraudulent claims (there are a lot of imitations out there – buyer beware!!) and what they actually are. This information alone made the investment worth it because not many sources address this aspect. I will use this book as a support book to the best one I’ve found so far, “The Book of Stones” by Simmons and Ahsian.

No pictures of the stones and low quality of the paper (looks like a news Paper), but, the content looks interesting by the thirst sight.
