Simple functional light
Yep, it’s a light. Put three AAAs in it and let er rip. Good for camping and power outages, easy to hang and small enough to bring anywhere.I thought the light was a little harsh with just plain LEDs at full intensity shining through clear plastic, so I scuffed up the clear plastic surface with sandpaper– now the light is more diffuse and less harsh on the eyes (but still just as bright).

Hit or miss, no in between
As soon as I received it, I put batteries in it to try it out⦠it never turned on, and the batteries immediately started getting insanely hot! So much so, it was difficult to remove them. My husband and I both gave it a go, just to make sure it wasnât operator error. Nothing. I immediately began a return/exchange, and the replacement came the very next day. As soon as we received it, we again inserted the batteries (this time with our fingers crossed) and immediately it worked as described! Bright light, different settings, and a perfect size for our tent! Excited to use it for our trip in a few weeks.

OK, but.
Nice size, construction is OK, but the difference between “high” and “low” is miniscule at best. I would have liked the “low” setting measurably lower than the bright. Oh well, at least the bright is bright.

I thought this light would be at least semi bright but no it bearly puts out any light at all. Do not purchase.
