I was hesitant, but…
They work great! We have a very rambunctious GSD who is 11 weeks old. I was hesitant to use these, but they have worked well in these ways:1 – When we need to leave for a couple hours, these help with his separation anxiety. He whines and barks for about a minute, and then he’s calm the rest of the time. We have been working on crate training, and I think these treats have helped him learn that his crate is his calm place.2 – When he has a hard time settling for bed, these treats are great. He calms and falls alseel in his crate after about 10 min.3 – When I’m trying to train him and he’s super energetic, I give him 1/2 of one of these. It calms him just enough to focus on what I’m trying to teach him.BE CAREFUL not to go overboard with these. For my 21 lb pup, I won’t give more than 2 total in a day. I gave him 3 one day (throughout the day – not all at once), and he was pooping a lot more than usual. It wasn’t diarrhea, but frequent poops do make potty training a bit more challenging.

Not sure if the response is physiological or psychological but keeps two of my dogs (both herding breeds) calm during thunderstorms. And they love to eat them as well

Curious discoloration? Mold?
I opened this 2 months ago, and so am past the return date. It works great, better than any I’ve tried for my dog, so I have no complaints there.But what is this on some of them? I had moved it, so some of the pieces near the bottom came up and about 5-10 have some of it. Its almost like a white hair, strange mold? And good luck getting to talk to them.

These smell good. Great quality. Works on my dogs. I have two mini schnauzerâs and they have anxiety when I leave the house. I have tried other ones and they donât work like these do

Very soft for her old lady teeth. Loves the flavor but really isnât picky anyway. I feel like they help her sleep through the night a lot better than before. Good product and will be buying again.

Whew!
We have an 80lb dog and a 20lb dog. Both of which are terrible in storms, fireworks, or going to the vet. This is literally the only over the counter medicine we have found that relaxes these 2 that are very different in weight and personality. We had used one prior to this however, GNC discontinued. We were so grateful when we came across these (after a lot of reaearch) and they happily eat them without having to sneak it into a treat. Our dogs get pretty chill after about 15 minutes and will usually last until the storm passes. The smell smells like an other dog treat and you get a pretty good amount for the price. This is our 3rd container in a year which I think is pretty darn good. Especially when you have a serving size of 8 for the bigger dog. Give it a try, it’s worth your dogs sanity!!!

I’m torn
I don’t know if these truly work as advertised. I followed the directions and administered the dosage to my dogs. I have 3 10 lb. Chihuahuas and a 20lb terrier dog. The initial dosage did not work. But when I doubled the dosage, it worked. My dogs remained alert, calm, and responsive. The weight range for dosing is crazy huge. For example, give 1 chewable for a pet weighing 1lb to 25lbs! Seriously?

70 pound German Shepherd
Pros: I have been giving my 5 1/2-year-old German Shepherd these calming treats for 4 months. They definitely take the edge off and allow her to focus and listen to commands. I have seen a lot of improvement in her level of aggression as well.Cons: I started out giving her the recommended dose, but didn’t see any improvement the first month, so I slowly increased the dosage. I give her 3 chews 3 times a day, so they don’t last very long in her system, but she a totally different dog, very pleasant around other dogs and people now.It would be nice if they would sell them in bigger packaging with more chews.
