I want to love these, but theyâre just okay
Ever wished your face smelled like a watermelon jolly rancher? Then this is the set for you! I use Drunk Elephantâs skin products and have wanted to try Glow Recipe, which feels like a similar-ish brand. But these travel-sized products fell short for me. They do go on smoothly, and the lotion, if small, is nice. (Side note: The lotion comes in a glass bottle, which is a bit risky if you have young kids.) The blur primer is just okay; I donât notice it helping with the rest of my skincare routine. The smell is what I canât get past. I like watermelon stuff quite a bit but found this smell to be sweet and strongâlike a watermelon candy. Itâs a bit much to rub on your face. Still, I like the ingredients and the idea of these, so 4/5 stars.

Nice set
This is my first time trying something from the Glow Recipe brand, which I’d heard good things about. While they’re a bit pricey, I really am enjoying both the moisturizer and blur drops. The watermelon glow juice is very light and hydrating, and not greasy. Skin feels very smooth after it dries, as it also does after using the blurring drops. The blurring drops give a slightly satiny matte finish to my skin which is lovely as I don’t usually wear makeup.

Glow Recipe skincare set
This is my first experience with the Glow Recipe brand. I really like the moisturizer because it has a fun scent and itâs hydrating. I donât use the blurring drops that often, but the few times I tried them, they did work to blur slightly. Iâm a fan!

Looks like this was designed for kids
Part of the pleasure of using skin care products is appreciating the packaging and the fragrance. In fact, most manufacturers understand that and the biggest expense even for the most expensive beauty products is the packaging. That isnât the case here. The products in the Glow Recipe Smooth Skin Sailing Skincare Kit really look like they were designed for children though the products themselves have adult ingredients. The fruity fragrances smell bubble gummy to me. The type on the packaging is tiny. The lotion and serum soak in quickly and the scent dissipates rapidly. My skin doesnât feel soft, but I donât enjoy using the products and they are expensive. I can easily find products that work as well but are more of a pleasure to use. I do appreciate that they are cruelty free and vegan.

Very nice set for summer
This skincare set from Glow Recipe features one full-sized product (Strawberry BHA Pore-Smooth Blur Drops) and one travel-sized product (Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser). If you purchased separately, you may pay a bit more so this is a small discount in comparison. The reason why these products were picked is because the formulations work well together so this is a good set for those who don’t know how to mix and match their primer and moisturiser in a way that doesn’t goop up. :)The presentation of the pink juice moisturiser is beautiful as it comes in a glass pump bottle. Aesthetically pleasing but be careful when putting it in your bag for travel as glass tends to shatter. The blur drops were in a plastic bottle and much less cute as there didn’t seem to be a lot of thought into it to feature the strawberry theme. Much less cute in my opinion. The moisturiser is made in Korea and the blur drops in the US.I think the products themselves went on smoothly on the skin. The blur drops did a great job of giving me glass skin as did the moisturiser for a dewy finish. They were both hydrating and smelled very good. 🙂 Please be aware that the moisturiser contains corn and soy and that the blur drops have added fragrance to them. If you are sensitive to any of these ingredients, this set is not for you so I recommend you look elsewhere for a different product.I think if you’re looking for a no-fuss glass skin set for summer, this is a wonderful option as it smells good, is formulated to make skin dewy, and leaves you with envious glass skin. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for dewy glowy skin!

First experience with Glow skincare products!
Iâve heard amazing things about Glow skincare products (mostly from IG and TT and younger kids), but, I was excited to try out this Glow Recipe Smooth Skin Sailing Skincare Set.I definitely thought both would be full sized products, but thatâs my fault for it reading the listing thoroughly.I definitely think this is more for âyounger skinâ rather than âmature skinâ. Although my mature, sensitive skin had no adverse reactions, I also havenât seen much of a difference at all.I have fairly enlarged pores so anything that says will help with pores, I will try! I really am enjoying the moisturizer, itâs gentle and hydrating. But the pore minimizer blurring drops – I have yet to see a difference in my pores at ALL after almost 3 weeks.I will continue using both and will update my review if I see any noticeable changes to my skin – but I definitely think this brand and these products are more suited towards âyoungerâ skin..
