Stitching is OK on Some and Weak on Others
Great way to stop using the plastic bags at the market and keep our produce “a bit” fresher. Overall happy with them for the price. Some of them had weak stitching (2 so far) but the rest have held up very well to weekly use and washing. The weight of the bags is so minor that I normally don’t even try to explain tare weight to the cashier but if needed they’ve put it right on the tag which is nice. Color coding the bags makes it easy to find the right size. The draw string is the weak part of the product and when it catches it makes it more likely to happen the next time. I’m not sure if it’s the string or the clamp that is the issue but both could be better IMHO. I’ve replace the string in one already and used some para cord since it was about the right size and was laying around. Cinching that bag is night and day better than the others. These are an easy way to save on plastic usage and keep your produce and other items fresh longer.

Good product with great customer service!
I have really wanted to start eliminating plastic from my life and this seemed like a small way to start.When I first received the bags, I noticed some greyish spots on the medium size bags. The spots looked like mildew, like they had been in a wet box or something. Inside the package was a card asking how the quality was with an email. I sent an email and pictures to the company and they immediately offered to send out a replacement set. I really only needed the medium bags, but received an entire set quickly. Had that card not been in the package, I doubt I would have taken the time to look up the contact info. I would have been somewhat dissatisfied and never recommended or purchased from this company again. Bravo to Gogooda for proactively seeking feedback.The bags themselves are great. Not only have I used them for produce, but the large size are large enough to carry other groceries. They are almost as big as a regular plastic grocery bag. These bags are stronger that the plastic ones!I appreciate the tare weight being on the bag, but none of the cashiers at my regular grocery store took notice at all. I don’t mind. It isn’t that much. If it mattered to be, I am sure they could figure it out.

Gogooda mesh bags info…
I mostly use these bags for grocery shopping instead of the flimsy bags that Trader’s Joes provides. I like to take my own shopping bags and one of them has a large side pocket, where I can stash these when not in use. I find them easy to use with the drawstring and various sizes. I mostly use the medium, which is 12″x 14″…it holds 9 large oranges or 9 small grapefruits. The large size is useful for larger items, although there are just 3 of those at 12″x 16″. There are 3 small bags, sized at 11.5″ x 7.5″ which I use to store my smaller items like lemons & cukes after I take them out of the manufacture’s plastic bags. I have noticed that those English cucumbers which I like, do seem to last longer stored in these bags….can’t tell you how many I have had to toss in the compost when they went bad before I could use them! This alone makes the purchase worthwhile to me. Also, usually plastic bags will tear or open up with all the produce rolling loose. These bags have a handy little button lock to prevent that from happening.As, I really don’t buy enough to use all the bags, I have started using a few of the medium size to store odd shaped items as I go through my house trying to get it organized. Probably, the only drawback to using them for this, is that the bags are mostly opaque, so that it isn’t easy to see what is inside. I am thinking of making some large size labels for those items. With the produce, I just leave the bags open in the fridge, so I can see the items stored easily. I could see that these bags would be really useful to packing small or medium size item when traveling, making packing and unpacking much easier.I got a note from the manufacture of these bags that even if the bags had a problem, that they would take care of it. No problems so far, but I thought that was a nice touch.

Great quality. Very lightweight so I don’t pay for the weight of the bags over and over with my produce. Toggle drawstring works smoothly every time. Washable fabric. Be aware that some fruits and vegetables will not last as long in the bag because of the ventilation (carrots, for instance, will get soft within a day or two).I love that I can shop my local produce stand or grocery store with these and not add more plastic to the world. Thank you to this company for finding solutions.Very good buy. I will be buying more for my adult kids to use when the plastic bag ban goes into effect in my state.

Good product, but not as see through as I would like
I love the idea of forgoing disposable plastic bags when buying produce at the grocery store, and these bags definitely fit the bill in terms of durability, portability, weight, and tare weight markings. With them being so light and foldable, I am able to keep some with me since I never know when I’ll find myself at a grocery story.They seem sturdy and durable, and I like the drawstring closure. The only reason I took away one star is that they are not as see-through as I would like (their description on the product site states they are completely see through which I do not find them to be). When checking out, I or the cashier always needs to open the bag to get the code or barcode, or sometimes even to identify the item. It would be even better if you could scan barcodes through the bag without having to open it or pull items out. Otherwise, I am pretty happy with these, and encourage folks to make the switch to reusable products such as these.
