These nail cutters are sharp and easy to use. The sharper they are, the easier they cut without undue pressure on the dog’s nail. By the time they think about complaining, the toe is done and it’s on to the next. Nail guard protects against cutting too much.

These are good quality nail clippers I got these for my cats but I have trouble with them because they like to fight so so far I have only got one cat done and I’m still trying to work on the other one and I do wrap them in the towel with just there feet out but it’s still a fight and I don’t want to cut them. They function very good. They don’t make a lot of noise that scares them. They are a lightweight and that is a really good value for the money they’re easy to clean and they do cut fast my problem is holding on to my cat

These clippers are where itâs at! My dog hatesssss getting her nails cut but this made it easy, painless and quick. It has a little safety guard on it so thereâs no guessing how short to cut – just slide the nail in and when it stops, snip! Easy to use and dog approved!

Harder to use than expected.
I specifically bought this nail clipper because it indicated that it worked well for large dogs, and reviews indicated that it worked well on thick nails. I have been using a Millers Forge plier style dog nail clipper for over a decade on four different large dogs without problems, but after that long the thing had gotten dull. I looked at reviews and this one seemed to be the highest rated. It turns out that these clippers took even more hand strength than the dull clippers I currently have, and I don’t find that acceptable. I will be returning these for the old Millers Forge clippers.
