Worth every penny
I have tried about 6+ comforter sets in a month and this one may just be my favorite. At the full price, it belongs in a higher class than many other “Made in China” comforter sets on Amazon. At the sale price around $30, it’s worth every penny and an absolute steal.I have tried plenty of bed-in-a-bag polyester sets and they almost always disappoint me. Why? They cheap out on the fabric selected and pick materials that should not be used in bedding. I know shoppers care about value, but the value should be higher quality merchandise, and not a ton of filler merchandise that will not hold up overtime.And as far as certification is concerned, every single product listing “claim” to be certified. But being made overseas, it’s impossible to verify. So I would take any claimed certifications with a huge grain of salt.Here is what I loved about this one.*Colors are true to the picture and absolutely gorgeous. Cozy Maple pattern looks like a vintage, wood cabin style quilt.*Surface fabric well selected. They picked a high thread count, smooth polyester that does not attract lint, hair and dirt. (Unlike many other options on Amazon)*Fluffy and comfortable to sleep in.*No loose threads or very, very few.*Pillow case is big / huge. Will fit any size pillow with plenty of space.*Held up well after initial wash in hot water.*Sleeping in it reminds me of a sleeping bag or camping.I really enjoyed this one and will order more for myself and family. If you see a pattern you like, get it. You will not regret it.Note I have heard reviewers say some patterns bleed. The “Cozy Maple” one does not. I washed it in hot water and it’s fine. Note I always wash polyester bedding in hot, not cool, with Borax or Oxy-Clean. It’s much more hygienic this way to kill any trace of bacteria, bed bugs and mites.I recommend you ignore manufacturer instructions to wash in cool and do the same. The manufacturers are based overseas in a completely different country and different culture, and do not necessarily understand North America hygienic needs and practices.

I love the holidays and the colors of this comforter are in the “country Christmas” color scheme. By this I mean that the reds and greens are muted instead of being bold and bright. That is perfect for the color scheme in my home. The one I ordered has a cozy cabin, reindeer, holly, and pine trees on one side and is a plain cream color on the reverse. One bonus feature about the design is that because of the orientation of the images, it is VERY clear which way the comforter should be laid on the bed. I’m sick of having plain comforters or sheets that you can’t tell which way is the “long” way for a Queen-sized bed. This one doesn’t create that problem. Also, it does help to “fluff” it up in the dryer before using it, but you don’t have to. And the set comes with two matching pillowcases. Another nice bonus is that the whole thing comes inside a cloth bag with the same design on it. So you can repurpose the outer bag and use it to put a holiday gift in.The only “con” I had was how hard it was to get out of the cloth bag. It was snugly inside the bag and there wasn’t any way to grab the fabric at the bottom of the bag and pull it off. So I had to shimmy it down until I was about two inches from the bottom of the roll and then it came free.
