Quality was fantastic!
Was worried about mail order steaks going to Florida in the summer. Opened package and there was just a small amount of the dry ice pack left. Took them out and checked temperature of each piece with inferred thermometer. They ran from 22 to 28 degrees. Rock solid and the way they are wrapped could have stayed frozen another day or two.Cooked over a friends house that we bbq with lots. Iâve been buying prime grade ribeye at Samâs and those were good but these much better.Followed a recipe from UTube. They thawed them out day before left them get to room temp probably 2 hrs and seasoned. Heated up a cast iron pan and seared in olive oil then seared all sides of the meat then added butter, garlic and thyme and continued basting while turning some. Removed and put in oven to finish them. They didnât require much time in oven. Took out covered and let sit for 10 min then served. Came out med rare.Just looking around the table at everyoneâs face as they started told it all. Comments from my friends were they were the best steaks they ever had. I had to agree.Yeah I get it theyâre not cheap. If 2 of us went out and ordered that we would have spent more.Thinking once you cooked once or twice itâs pretty easy to get a fantastic meal.Going to order a second package once I finish this review.Resisted the temptation to give a bad review just so I could make sure they didnât run out ðHope you enjoy as we did.
