My pup requires a ton of grooming and maintenance with his hair. This hammock has made this so easy and seamless for me, the extra belt around the belly helps secure him. The functionality is great and set up is so easy to assemble. It even comes with nail maintenance supplies! Not to mention it looks great! Very happy with this product 🙂

I love the concept, i had to look at other users photo to figure out how to use it, no instructions , other than that it helps to shave the leg fur snd cut the nails, the clippers and file work good too

Not safe for wild cats
Our cat is a rescue and freaked out and wriggled right out of the small. I think it’s too big, but to be fair he is pretty feral. We may try the XS for a tighter hold but after the first rodeo idk, I’m worried. He’s 10lbs but we got a size up because other mentioned they liked having extra room. The clippers are dog clippers, so may they may not be too useful for kitty’s.Safety issue is that the hooks are not very secure when a cat is bouncing around in the air trying to get out, they easily bounced off the curtain rod.Couldn’t get a picture as all havoc broke loose once he was in and we had to catch him before he strangled himself since the back hook came off. So FYI, don’t leave your animal unattended in this thing at all, it could easily turn into a hanging situation.

Design needs more improvement!
I’ve been going to get my cat’s nails trimmed once every couple months at the groomers. It is a hassle to pack up my cat and drive 35 miles round trip for the 5 minutes it takes for the groomer to trim his nails. So after reading the reviews, both 5 and 1 star, I decided to give this product a try. It was well packaged and everything that came in the box was listed on site. The trimmer looked a little sketchy and when I held it and squeezed the handle, the blades didn’t line up properly. They were cheaply made and I didn’t want to risk hurting my cat. I set up all the pieces ( harness, s-hooks, black straps, harness strap) and made sure I had things organized and ready. I went to pick up my cat and tried putting him in the harness. There was no way that I was able to put my cat in this contraption independently. For one thing, the harness does not look anything like the picture shown in the product photos. It was symmetrical and did not specify which was the front or back so I just picked a side as the front/back. My cat kept getting his front legs loose before I could even hang him up. It was not easy at all and the s-hooks kept falling down and the straps fell down with it. After that frustration, I had my daughter and husband assist me which still wasn’t working. It was very cumbersome and caused such a commotion that we gave up. The design and ease of this working totally left us feeling defeated. I had high hopes but will be returning this product. It didn’t serve its purpose and unless your pet is super calm and not squirmy, it could put you or your pet in harm’s way. It was not worth it getting clawed and my cat was starting to stress out. It almost traumatized everyone and our cat which then I would’ve ended up just burning this item to ashes. This item was priced reasonably but I know most people would be willing to pay more for something that is more sturdy and easy to use single-handedly or with no more than 2 people. I will search for something else to use that is more groomer friendly or something more similar to what a vet or groomer would use.

Both my new dogs (mom and daughter) would not let me clip their nails. At best I could get 2 nails done and that was it, then the fight/struggle was on. This has been going on for months now. I can’t clip nails if there’s a struggle because I do not want to accidentally quick one of them and potentially ruin the dog for life as far as getting the nails clipped. I also don’t want to pay to have to take them to a groomer every few weeks where they still won’t like getting their nails done and would have even more stress about it. This handy hammock did the job beautifully! No stress on my part and very little stress on the dogs part. I expected as much as it was their first time being hung up. I’m sure they’ll relax more as time goes on. They were both very happy to get yummy treats afterwards, and have already completely forgiven me for hanging them up for a few minutes. Yup, a few minutes is all it took to get every nail on their toes and even their dew claws done. I highly, highly recommend this hammock if you have a dog that has an aversion to nail clipping. Wonderful product. Seems very well made and sturdy. At no point was I worried about them falling out or the material ripping. I didn’t use the nail clippers that were included as I have my own, so I can’t comment on them, but the money I spent on this product has already paid for itself. No groomer visits for nail clippings. I couldn’t be happier.

I wasn’t sure when I bought this due to the complaints but the product looks great, it looks sturdy enough, my dog accepted it without an issue, the belt came with it and the comb is also pretty good. I haven’t tested the file and the clippers because I have my own.

Meine Hund hat mich nie ihre Nägel schneiden lassen bzw. ihre Haare schneiden lassen. Ich habe alles mögliche Zuhause ausprobiert , aber leider hatte ich nie Erfolg. Ich habe es nie eingesehen, zum Hundefriseur zu gehen, weil das immer sehr ins Geld ging und mit einem großen Zeitaufwand verbunden war. Deshalb bin ich so froh, dass ich auf dieses Produkt hier auf Amazon gestoßen bin. Die Produkte kamen schnell an, waren gut verpackt und sind qualitativ hochwertig. Die Anleitung war auch sehr einfach zu verstehen bzw. war es selbst erklärend. Also mein erster Eindruck war schonmal sehr gut! Ich war jedoch zunächst skeptisch, ob ich meinen Hund in die Hängematte bekommen werde, weil sie doch relativ ängstlich ist.Mit meiner kleinen Hündin (Pundel) hat es überraschenderweise direkt zu Beginn geklappt. Sie musste ich kurz mit dem Produkt vertraut machen, aber sie ließ sich problemlos “aufhängen”. Da sie unter 13 kg wiegt, war es sehr einfach, sie “aufzuhängen”. Mit einem kleineren Hund kann man das problemlos selbst machen. Eine Duschstange eignet sich hier sehr gut!
