Great nails
After using Hard as Hoof my nails are longer, stronger and not splitting and breaking as easily. I must say I started only using it at night which was a mistake. It took longer than others have reported consequently I did not notice much of an improvement initially, but patience helps. I say this after several months so I am increasing the number of applications per day and anticipate even better results. The cuticles are much healthier, too, without hangnails and much more pliable. I avoid using polish and removers so the nails look healthy and not dried out. I did start taking biotin several months after starting H/H as an adjunct therapy. I also used too much H/H at first. I have found it does not require a lot. It is absorbed quickly leaving the nails dry and smooth. I heartily recommend H/H. I really do not feel the need to apply polish with longer healthy natural looking nails.

Nice nail cream
I want to love this, but for me, it’s just nice. I have very thin nails due to a health condition. I wasn’t looking for a miracle cure just some boost up on my nails. It didn’t fix ridges or stop the nails from peeling. With that being said, it did help extremely with the hangnails. It smells great and goes on smoothly so for me that gets 4 stars. I will buy this again just for soften those hangnails because that worth the cost.

HOLY DAMN. First time my nails aren’t stumps. I’m 40 years old and tried everything.
All natural, baby – and this is only just a little over a month of progress! In addition to being a bull in a china shop and tearing Amazon packages open with my bare hands like the savage that I am, I am also an artist/musician. I am constantly doing stuff with my hands, and I used to not even have to clip my nails because they would always just bend right off before they could grow. My nails went from stumps that never grew above the skin on my fingertips to this.I wanted to see if I could grow my nails out for my upcoming wedding. These are my results after using this nail cream every other day for only 1.5 months, maybe less. Well let me tell you, I have actually been clipping and filing them DOWN because the growth is overwhelming and I don’t know how to function as a womany woman with nails quite yet (I never used acrylics, I hate them – in general I have learned I just don’t like having long nails and will probably cut them after my wedding).One of the reasons I think this product works better for me than the paint-on strengtheners ever did is that naturally I have extremely weak, bendable, soft, thin nails that easily split and flake rather than chip. This is the right product because it doesn’t harden to the point of making them brittle, which is amazing. If you have thin nails like mine, you’re going to need some elasticity and moisture to them because thin nails will simply break when they are too hard. This cream is the only thing to provide that.My nails, despite still being thin and bendable, are actually a lot stronger than I am used to and I can’t believe I haven’t broken one yet.Not only did it improve my nails, it also eliminated the lifetime of dried skin around my cuticles, especially the little skin nubs that used to be on the sides of my thumbs, which I’d had since I was a kid. It also makes my hands nice and soft/shiny too!Highly recommend this for you thin bendy nail ladies out there, and those who want to eliminate dried skin around the cuticles. It definitely works when nothing else does, you just have to keep up with it. I honestly question anyone who claims it doesn’t work because it works SO well and so dramatically.

I have waited to post this review on Hard as Hoofs.When I first bought this product, my nails were in a very poor state.They were brittle, they didn’t appear to grow, they were cracking and some had ridges.One nail in particular was in a very poor state.It has taken more than 2 months of applying this cream meticulously and at last I can say that my nails are strong, healthy and they feel silky.After applying the cream, they look really good. Thankfully the ridges have gone.And the nail that was in a very poor state, is finally growing out and looking goodThe other comment that I would make is, the appearance of my nails made very little progress in the first four to six weeks.It took until weeks seven to eight to see the improvements.During this time, I also started taking a higher dose of Biotin daily.I was in a cooler climate for the first few weeks, my hands are always cold, and I have poor circulation.When I returned to a warmer climate, this helped my circulation and in turn helped the nail growth and improvements.I would recommend buying this product, but you need to have patience.
