Happily surprised
Being able to make my favorite dishes without the carbs is great, guessing that having recipes where the “pasta” or the “rice” just offer a base for all the actual yummy and very flavorful ingredients is also key factor. Cheesy afredo sauce with lots of chicken and bacon, very saucy meat dishes are just very well complimented – getting used to the slightly rubbery texture was not a big deal at all for me, will become a regular item in my pantry

Overall quality is good. Texture is fine, taste is fine (nothing…which is what it’s supposed to taste like). It’s quite expensive to order through Amazon because it’s all water weight. Local grocery has more cost effective equivalents.

Im keeping a low card diet for many years. I have tried many types of shirataki noodles over the years and these needles are the first noodles i actually enjoy eating.Just a disclaimer: it doesn’t taste like real pasta, the texture is not like real pasta, but it is noodles and with good sauce you can enjoy it.One of the surprising thing about these shiratakinoidle is that they DON’T STINK. Other shirataki noodles have a very bad smell. When you open the package you can’t smell anything, which is great.

Live these noodles. Start with rinsing well then add to any chicken, beef or seafood entree or even a vegetable entree if you want. Iâve tried all of the above and been very pleased with the outcome. My favorite so far has been a teriyaki shrimp and broccoli that was amazing!

Really y’all, fishy??? Rubber bands???
Here’s the deal, I’m trying my best to lose weight so, of course, I find these noodles. The whole review section almost scared me off due to the “texture like rubber bands” and “awful fishy smell” comments, but I prayed they were wrong and ordered with hope that my days of eating pasta weren’t over. Let me tell you, when I first opened the bag I got my nose RIGHT UP THERE to see what the deal was with the so-called fishiness, but there was absolutely no smell. I’m serious when I say I was so shocked I stuck my WHOLE nose in the bag and there was still NOTHING! Now, as for the rubber bands thing, I kinda get it, but I don’t think it’s as dramatic as the wording made it sound, at least to me personally. The chew is definitely not tough, more of just soft and springy almost like its a long little thin jelly, but with only a slight chew. Almost similar to bean sprouts, but without the crunch… very reminiscent! I think it’s safe to say I’ll be coming back for more of these dang noodles. Don’t believe everything you read! 🙂 (I wrote this review as I ate them, ramen style!) Thanks for the noodles!

was not for me AT ALL!
I’ve been on a keto diet for the last 3 weeks. I was hoping i could use these to supplement some “pasta” in my diet. Like others have said, the consistency for lack of a better term “slimy”.The bite for me was off and the flavor to me was a no go even paired with a szechuan paste i love. I truly did not expect it to replace regular or even wheat pasta. It was just to far for me . I threw out the other 5 bags. I so wanted this to be good. The 3 stars was only because this is all of my palate. they don’t deserve a one star because of preference, some make like it.
