Expensive, but seems to work as advertised.
I bought this when my older, rescue cat was having some dental issues. Antibiotics resolved the inflammation that made it hard for him to eat, but the vet noted a lot of plaque build up. I decided to try this food because I didn’t want to go through the expense of having the cat’s teeth professionally cleaned or the risk of anesthia. My cat loves the food and by the end of the bag, his teeth appeared significantly cleaner. I decided to continue to use the food, but given the expense, now I mix it, half and half with less expensive kibble.

Works Great to Keep my Cat’s Teeth Clean
I have given my cat this food since she went off kitten food. It is only food she gets except for 3 Greenies with her dinner. She has just turned 6 and her teeth have always been clean and she has never had bad breath. Each piece of kibble is larger than normal and she needs to crunch it into pieces to eat it. I believe it is this action that keeps her teeth

Non Prescription Chewies Are Great!
My little boy loves these dental Chewies! I was worried he wouldn’t because he was used to the prescription brand, but it turned out that he really liked these! The price was half the cost of the prescription brand which was a money saver for me. I will continue to purchase this item.

Expensive but high quality
I looked into this food after hearing an expensive horror story of dental surgery from a cat owner at work. My cat is basically not food motivated at all, and pretty much only (reluctantly) ate her crunchies in between mealtimes. Imagine my surprise when I poured some of this in her bowl and she ran right over to test it. Like many I thought the size was a little concerning but the cat doesn’t seem to mind. Might be an issue with older or younger cats. While the cat seems to like the flavor it is pricey. I might experiment with feeding it every few days or mixing with other foods. A side effect of this fiber-heavy kibble is some real monstrosities in the litter box…

Generations of use
My first cat ate this, my second cat and now my current cats. Anytime I get a cat I have their teeth professionally cleaned and then feed them this and they are good from there. None have turned a nose up to it and enjoy crunching it. None have experienced any gut upset or vomited it.

cats love this
My two Siamese cats love this food. I used this food for my last cat and when he was put down at 18 years old he had all his teeth. This food helps scrape their teeth while they eat. Perfect!

Pricey yes, but effective
I have a cat who develops plaque readily. Since using this she has been able to go many years without needing a cleaning. Doc told me that this food can’t be effective if it can’t reach the surface of the teeth. So 1) eating this kept my cat from needing a cleaning for five years when she used to need it annually and 2) its job is to keep the plaque from developing for as long as possible–almost all cats eventually need a scraping unless you’re regularly brushing them.N.B.: Fortunately we were able to find a hygienist who does not require anesthesia (for convenience of sonic tools) and saved all the added costs. Vet hygienist just wrapped her in a fuzzy blankie, got in with the people dental tools, and scraped off the plaque. Kitty in and out of there in 20 min. Purring afterward, no trauma. No hours to recover from anesthesia (and signing the form saying I understand she could die from it). Even though she’s an older kitty, tech said I could still start brushing her teeth myself if she’s wrapped in the blanket. He said just to focus on the molars, start in short attempts, that there’s actually plenty of space to get a wee toothbrush inside the cheek. Said that combined with this diet will go a long way.

My cat gobbles this down!
Okay, so I can’t personally vouch for the taste of this dry cat food, but based on how voraciously my kitty snarfs this up, it must be delicious. The kibbles look too large to eat easily, but doesn’t seem to be a problem for the feline in our household. When the vet presented me with a cup and toothbrush for the cat at his first vet appointment, I researched options for oral care. This food got great reviews for dental care and flavor from other pets and pet owners, and now we can vouch for it. If the 2nd vet visit shows that this eliminates tartar and provides superior nutrition, I won’t have to worry about trying to brush kitty’s teeth.

I bought this for our older boy Patches. He’s 9 1/2 and has issues with his teeth. I was hoping he’d like it. Well I left the bag sitting on the counter for a few minutes, came back and he had ripped the bag open and was eating it directly out of the bag. He loves this food so much and it’s like little softer nuggets and not hard on his teeth. I would recommend this 100% to anyone with an older cat with teeth issues. This is the only brand of cat food Iv buy for him now. The price is right and he’s eating so much better now.

I bought it because normally cats love the taste of any Hill’s product. My cats tried to eat it and couldn’t.Even starving street dogs refused to eat it.I think it was stale, expired product that was lying in the Seller’s store for many months. There is mot date of import or date of manufacture given anywhere on the packaging.I just lost Rs. 1447 on this.
