great cheat for pointe shoes
great cheat for class, when there is no time to attach ribbons to pointe shoes , matches pale skin tone, maches tighs, and basic pointe shoe satin color. just slide over pointe shoe and fasten over ankle . you can double wrap over the shoe for added stability. Its elastic so it stays in place, with velcro- very secure even during rigorous movement, jumps, etc. nothing gets loose or undone. Added bonus that it is wide, soft band, so does not dig in to skin, so good for sensitive skin, that may be irritated by too thin of a slice of ribbon. provides good compression for swollen ankles. provides good support for recovery from ankle injury. very fast and easy to put on. keeps ankles warm fast and for long, ,no need for bootie. honestly I may just use these going forward for all my pointe dance classes unless i encounter some particularly cranky teacher b/c these are just soo supportive and comfortable and ribbons, even elastic ones suuuk.

Works perfectly and helped with my foot pain in-between the heel and arch. Sometimes I get a lump there. I wear the wraps at work or any athletic activity. It helps compress it and little padding.

The first thing I have an issue with is that there were no instructions or diagrams on how to wrap your foot. On person in her comments stated: âit is hard to put on thankful my husband figured it outâ. Well at 80+ years I donât have issues with difficult things but she was right. Without directions or a video, it can be confusing and I searched the Web and located several better description on how it looked installed, but no directions. Not only that, but placing it on the left foot was easy as compared to the right. You canât reverse the way you wrap because the Velcro will be facing up and not down to attach.I ordered an adult size and one wrap around the sole of the foot at the arch without stretching leaves 24 inches remaining. Stretching the band extends the remaining to 32 inches. Supposedly stretching will increase the tension on the band around the foot. Problem is, without wrapping and stretching the band around the sole and arch, I would have had to wrap the remaining around the upper ankle 4-5 times to fasten the Velcro end. When vigorously stretching and wrapping, I had to stop several times because upon finishing a loop around the foot, it would leave a ripple in the band and I would have to start over to smooth it out.Iâm used to using KT-Tape because it provides a static progressive bi-directional tension to provide a firm feel and also allow flexion and extension which helps to provide support and comfort to the injured area, especially the Planter Fascia.This device did neither.I stretched the band tightly and wrapped my foot at the arch with three loops to get a firm feel and then had to wrap the remaining left-over band two & one/half times around my ankle to attach the Velcro end. This left me feeling like I was wearing an ankle bracelet, quite annoying.I wore this for the next four hours.Even though I stretched the band vigorously when wrapping, I didnât notice anything different than if I was wearing support stockings. After 4 hours my feet were sweaty and I felt no compression as I had with KT-Tape. Not only that but there is no support for Planter Fasciitis, it only places a compression (somewhat) at the ankle.A dissatisfied customer.

Such great soft fabric… but unfortunately they won’t stay tight. They loosen as u walk and eventually fall down. They are perfect if they would only stay up… just add extra velcro so they can’t unwind….
