Fantastic product, quality for very reasonable price
This is a fantastic face cream, department store quality for a reasonable price. Identical to one costing four times as much. Does not make my face break out. The squalene is an excellent moisturizer without weighing down the skin, leaving it comfortable. Absorbs quickly and makes you look luminous. I don’t notice any scent.

The description of this says âLike a glass of water for your faceâ , and they were not lying. I have really sensitive skin and dry skin. This stuff feels Alittle watery, but it goes on so nice. Itâs got really good ingredients not all that added crap. Iâve been using this for a week now and have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in my face. Itâs way more moisturized and stays moisturized all day long. There is no scent. Which Iâm fine with. The texture feels like lotion when you scoop it out but applies nice when you rub it in.

Good product
This is the first time Iâve tried Honest products for myself. This is a nice moisturizer and is thicker than a body lotion or other face lotions Iâve tried. I donât know if Iâll repurchase because I donât know thatâs itâs made a difference for me one way or another. Thereâs no scent. It lasts awhile. One thing I donât love is it stays somewhat tacky for awhile.

Best hydrating but lightweight face cream
This is my favorite despite many other expensive brands. This goes on and them immediately absorbs and leaves a dewy water like softness to my face. I do not like the Honest Deep Repair pump version as much. This one, I watch the price go up to $20 or more at times, and I wait and wait until it drops to a reasonable price. In Target it’s usually $19/$20.I love that it is not scented and is the most hydrating for my entire face.

Iâm very picky when it comes to moisturizers and Iâm slowing trying to replace my cosmetics with clean products. My first thought was it was too thin and greasy feeling but as you rub it into your face, the consistency changes and it feels so moisturizing of your face. Been using for a week now and I love how it makes my skin feel.

Pros and cons for my type of skin
I read some mixed reviews about this Honest Beauty moisturizing cream, so I decided Iâd try it out with the smaller size option, and Iâm glad I did. I like that it has a neutral scent. It feels silky going on, but it left my combination (part oily-part dry) skin on my face greasy, which was disappointing. I did find that it works great (not greasy) on my neck, so thatâs a plus. Still looking for the perfect, clean, affordable moisturizer to wear daily for these fine lines.

One of the best moisturizers in town
People are guessing the amount of product in their jars simply by eye-balling it which is never accurate. Attached is a pic of an empty pod and a video of a pod refill. I have yet to see a verified 0.90 fl. oz review. No, I don’t work for Honest Co. I have not had any problems with ingredient separation, missing product, or receiving previously used and returned products. Always verify the seller as there are a lot of shady ones out there.Pricing for the full jar is fair. Pricing for the pod refill is even better. It is well worth it when I compare Honest Hydrogel to luxury brands that fail the basic field test and try to make you pay for 20+ excessive/unnecessary ingredients. Hydrogel is blowing them out of the water.There is some resistance when spreading the cream at first, but the cream “bursts and melts” and becomes much more water-like. My skin feels dewy (some may describe it as oily or gross) and has the gloss of the moisturizer on it which I like. I don’t try to powder it because that’s the moisturizer at work. The bigger hyaluronic molecule sits on top of the skin while the smaller-sized molecule sinks into the epidermis. I recommend this for dry, oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin, of which I have all four conditions. The ingredients of this hydrogel don’t aggravate my skin. Sometimes, I reapply another layer later in the day but usually do not. When reapplying, the melting sensation doesn’t happen because there is already moisturizer on my skin. Hydrogel is my primary moisturizer both day and night and stays put (no pilling) under my sunscreen, whether tinted or not, and with bronzer drops mixed in. I don’t know how it is under foundation since I don’t wear foundation.This is unscented and not occlusive so this doesn’t clog my pores. I think people need to go over their skincare routines, products and procedures before blaming other products. If you put a high-quality product, such as Honest hyrdogel cream, on top of 1) unprepped or unclean skin along with 2) an already bad product on it, you will always get bad results from the first two issues no matter what you put over them. Then again, this product could really be garbage on any individual. My personal experience with Honest Hydrogel is clear, dewy, moisturized skin that is soothed and calm. It’s not the cure for everything, but it is an essential part of my routine. I have been using it since 2019

creamy cool
Feels a little thick at first in my hand but when applied, the warmth of my hands and face makes it silky, smooth and slightly cooling (refreshing). I have had no skin issues whatsoever since starting 3 months ago. There is little to no odor which I appreciate. The only thing I have noticed is that if I am too generous in my application my skin may feel a little oily but seems to improve with all day wear. Absorbs nicely for a smooth, soft face.

My face tends to break out from moisturizers that are either too greasy or they have too much “stuff” in them, and sometimes even get a bit of eczema when the season changes to colder temperatures. I have been using this cream for a couple of weeks now, and while I am not expecting any miracles, my skin seems happy with it. I will continue using it and see how it handles the harsh Canadian winter as well and report back.
