Awesome for keeping cold packs in place
I bought this when I bruised a rib, which is a very difficult place to ice and needed something I could easily wrap around my body. This worked perfectly until I healed up and has been great to have on hand for icing knees or anything else. Nice that it comes with two pads so you can switch them out. It stays cold and is comfortable to wear. Highly recommend!

Stays cold
I purchased this gel pack to ice behind my knee after a surgery. They seem to be quality made and keep cold for a long time with no mess or condensation. Itâs a 2 pack so you will always have a cold one ready. The wrap support that is included does an excellent job keeping the pack from your skin but still delivering the cold and the Velcro strap is a nice feature that lets you attach the gel pack securely to pretty much anywhere on your body.

Wide enough to wrap around your body
I bought this to help ease the pain and discomfort after a hernia operation and discovered that it has a wide and large strap that can wrap right around you. I wear XL shirts and they strap still fits comfortablly around me. The pouches are secured in place by a wide velcro strap which wraps comfortably around your stomach and holds the ice packs securely and comfortably in place. Additionally, the gel packs stay cold for a decent amount of time, and swiftly refreeze. The packs fit easily enough in to a pouch so that the cold surface of the gel pack is not contact with the wound or the strain. I highly, highly recommend this product and would encourage anyone having issues to buy this product.

quick freeze, stays put
Rolled my ankle. I was tired of drippy ziplock bags and the short time of the right texture of ice. I can take this to work (where there is no icemaker and ice takes too long to form in the one little ice tray) and continue my icing regimen. The bad is a bit bulky for my application, but double wrap and it stays put. My husband will likely use on his back when I’m done. Haven’t tried the hot side yet. Oh, the actual pack is not slick plastic, but more of a velvety feel so I’m pretty sure it can be used without the pouch if needed.
