Old and in the way –
Beautiful, Simple Design
I own two of these now and am happy with them. At 3.5″ across, they are small enough to fit nearly anywhere. There are 6 holes of various sizes to hold many different kinds of incense sticks. I’d imagine that incense cones could sit on top as well, if that’s what you like to burn. It’s very easy to clean. I use a toothpick to remove the small piece of Japanese style incense stick I like to burn. And as a lover of traditional Asian art, I find the design to be very beautiful. They’re fairly inexpensive, and they seem to be durable.I agree with one of the the critical reviews that said not all of the ashes fall inside the tray, as the description suggests. That’s true, so if you purchase this, take that into consideration when you choose a place to set it. Ashes on countertops is a given with burning incense, so that’s not a problem to me.

Pretty with one minor complaint
This is an attractive incense burner, two parts that just rest together to aid in cleaning I presume. Looks zen and seems durable solid metal. Only minor complaint is itâs just not wide enough to catch all the ash, even trimming down the stick to minimal. The sticks lean over quite a bit. Some ash always wants to fall onto the table around it. If it was just barely an inch wider in diameter, this would not happen. Not a deal breaker, still a keeper. Needs a little improvisation to solve this issue.

Only good for stick incense
It looks nice but the holes are too small for the non-stick type of incense. It works for cone and stick but not for my needs. Trouble with the stick type is that it has to be straight up and down so the ashes will fall in the bowl. so I can only put one stick incense without having them ash off the bowl. Thing is that I don’t normally buy the stick type of incense to begin with. This holder is not for me.

I love this little flower!
I keep an extra incense stick in there because my sticks are too small, it works great. The ashes stay in the flower if the sticks are straight, and thereâs no mess. I donât know how I managed to find the perfect bowl for it to fit in!

Small but effective
I really like this. Could get a little messy, you need to know where to place bottom lotus. It is small but of good quality. Very lightweight super easy to use.

I love the incense holes which are various sizes so it can accommodate multiple brands of incense sticks. Love the earth brown colour but wish they had a turquoise or sea blue. They are the more calming colours of a lotus flower. Perfect size and catches the ashes well! The lotus craftsmanship is excellent. Highly recommend and will buy again when they have new colours available!

That’s my only “issue” with it, my sticks lean a bit so the ashes end up outside of the flower until about halfway through the inscense stick. Other than that, it’s cute and it’s small,and I’m relatively happy with it.
