So far so good for storing my bags of grains, beans, legumes, flours and pasta
I recently discovered weevils in our food pantry, which apparently came from a bulk bag of barley and spread to other grains and even newly unopened bags of flour. Yuk! I had always stored as much as I can in sealed glass jars, then stored the rest in their original bags in the pantry, but after this weevil problem, I decided to order these large food storage containers, which attracted me because of their large capacity, their ability to roll easily and the fact that they are sealed and airtight, so those little weevil buggers shouldn’t be able to get in!I just keep each ingredient inside its original bag and put all the bags inside the plastic containers, so it’s easy to see what’s in there and to pull out the bag and refill the glass jars as needed. I was pleasantly surprised at how much room there is in each container and having a two pack is very convenient. I don’t store my dry dog food in there, as I already have a large storage container for that and therefore I haven’t tried it, but looking at these standing next to my actual dog food container, I would think that 30lb of kibble might be pushing it a little!I like that they are made in USA and BPA free. I have a very keen sense of smell, especially for toxic chemicals, but I don’t smell anything particularly chemical coming from these containers, as I have seen mentioned in other reviews.$30 for two is not cheap, but then most of this type of container is pricey everywhere and these seem like a fair price in comparison. So far I would recommend them.

Great yo store dog food. My dogs and cats cannot get into the food. It is on wheels, so you don’t have to carry it from dining room to kitchen

Serves its purpose — the lid is the only issue
It gets the job done. I bought the two pack and use one for bird seed and the other for dry food for the stay cats that come by my apartment.There’s a bit of a flaw in the design of the lid. It doesn’t open fully on one of my containers and you do need to use both hands to get the lid to shut. When I say it doesn’t open fully, I mean I can open the lid at a 90 degree vertical angle, but that’s as far as it will open up. It doesn’t inhibit me from accessing the food it’s just a little annoying that I have to hold it open. I will say, once the lid is latched and sealed, it’s very secure.It’s not too big but still holds quite a bit of food so it’s easy to slot it into a nook or unused corner of my apartment — it’s great for maintaining an organized pet care space. Because of how tight the seal is, I have no doubts it will keep the food fresh for some time.My few complaints don’t make the product unusable. I mainly wanted to mention them in case anyone with certain disabilities might be looking to purchase this. If you have more severe mobility concerns or muscular atrophy in your wrist/hands/arms, maybe find a different product. Primarily because you do need to use a bit more strength to get the lid shut and latched. There’s room for improvement which is why I gave it 4 stars, but like I said before the flaws don’t make the product unusable nor do I feel agitated when I have to put in a bit more effort when closing the lid.

I bought this product to use for storing cat litter! I always changed litterboxes by just cutting the corner off a bag and picking it up, bringing it to the boxes, and pouring. Every, single, time! I have 8 cats, so I have to change litter constantly. And I buy those giant 20lb bags of litter and those are super bulky! That was starting to become a real grievance to me and I was trying to brainstorm ideas to decrease the hassle and make litter changing more convenient and easy, since I have to do it on a regular basis. Thinking of using a wheeled pet food storage container was the best idea I’ve had in a while! It’s large size easily holds two 20 pound bags of litter, with room for more. I use a 64oz Rubbermaid commercial utility scooper along with it, and just keep it inside the container on top of the litter.I can just wheel this thing straight to each litterbox, saving my back and arms from any strain, unclip the lid and about 2-3 scoops per litterbox I’m done and just wheel it right back! No lifting required! And It’s amazing how light it feels and how smooth it wheels with 40 pounds of litter in it! Of course I still have to pick up the giant litter bags to dump them in in the first place to restock the container, but I don’t have to do that every single time I change the litter anymore and that to me is just so, so easy. I only have to fill this thing like 1-2x a month.Extremely satisfied with this product, and considering buying another one for actual pet food storage as well!

Holds a full giant bag of dog food, is super easy to open and close and the wheels make it super easy to move around even when full. I’m actually surprised at how much weight the wheels hold without any issue. It seems like it seals fairly well, well enough to keep the food fresh at least. If you are looking to keep something like weevils out, you may find that the seal isn’t good enough for such small insects. Cockroaches and medium-sized ants wouldn’t be able to get in though.
