My go to power supply to travel.
Iâm a truck driver who spends plenty of time out on the open road, so reliable power for essential gadgets like my CPAP machine is a must. This power station from Jackery has become my go-to for ensuring I can snag some quality sleep, no matter where I park for the night. This little powerhouse packs a lot of punch, more than enough to keep my CPAP running all night. The variety of charging ports allow me power up my phone and other devices while my CPAP does its thing. Itâs fairly portable but doesnât skimp on power. I also like how fast this thing charges. It claims one hourfast charging when activated in the App, and it delivers. I tried out this function for once or twice when I was in a hurry at a diner. It worked well and was able to get fully charged in one hour or so. The LiFePO4 battery promisesup to 10 years of use, so Iâm less concerned with whether the fast charging will affect the batteryâs lifespan. The built-in camping light is a neat touch too, doubling as a handy light for late nights and unexpected emergencies. Iâm also eyeing the Solarsaga 100 prime solar panel for my truck to make power on the go even easier. Itâs specially made for setting up on vehicles, so Iâm excited to give it a whirl soon. Overall, the Explorer 240 v2 power station has been tremendously helpful for my trips, delivering dependable power with a focus on safety and efficiency. For anyone needing power off the grid, whether for work or just to keep things running smoothly, this power station is a solid pick.

Good this camping. Takes a while in sunlight but does charge and works great. Very portable. Great value.

Hiking Adventure with the Explorer 240 v2 Portable Power Station
I bought Jackery’s explorer 240 v2 as a power supply for hiking. As an avid hiker who relies heavily on my gadgets for navigation and photography, bringing along a reliable power source was a must. After doing considerable research among major brands on Amazon, I finally decided on this unit for its portability, fast charging feature, and the reputation of the Jackery brand. After using it for a couple of weeks now, Iâm actually glad about my decision to pick this portable power station. I recently took it with me on a hike. Here are some of my thoughts about this product based on my experiences so far.Our plan was to catch the sunrise from the summit, which meant an early start. Because I forgot to charge it after playing around with it for a few days, it only had 9% remaining battery. The one-hour fast charging function came in handy. I turned on the emergency charging in the App and plugged it in right after breakfast, and by the time we were packed and ready to hit the trail, the power station was fully charged and good to go. This quick prep was a huge relief, as it meant no waiting around and more time on the trail. Also, at just 7.7 pounds, the explorer 240 v2 was the ideal companion for our hike. Its lightweight design meant that it didnât add significant weight to my pack, a crucial factor when you’re scaling steep paths and navigating rugged terrain.Despite its compact size, it packed enough power to keep all our devices charged throughout the trip. Since we used our smartphones extensively for capturing photos and videos of the views, our phone batteries started to dip before we made our return. But with the 100W USB-C ports, we quickly plugged in our phones. These ports can enable fast charging on our phones even without the wall charger.Reflecting on the trip, I can confidently say the explorer 240 v2 meets all my demands for a portable power supply. Its fast charging, lightweight design, and power capacity not only enhanced our hiking and camping experience but also brought a sense of security, knowing we had a reliable power source in the wild. For any outdoor enthusiast looking to blend adventure with convenience, this portable power station is a must-have.

It Holds a Charge
Put it through it’s paces on a camping trip. It works like a charm. It’s light and has a convenient carry handle. The solar panels are nice and work fine. Unit is well built and it comes with an app.The reason I only gave it 4 stars was because it took hours to charge up a very small camping van and before it was finished charging, the fan drained almost half the energy of the little Jackery.Otherwise, I like it and it’s convenient to have in an emergency to charge your phone in case of a hurricane. I haven’t tested it on a laptop. I’m happy it has solar panels. That is a plus!

More difficult to charge than it should be.
I have had the unit since the 9th of August 2024, the unit itself is very nice, you only get one way to charge it from Jackery a 110 cord, I am a van dweller and the Jackery doesn’t like my inverter for some reason so won’t charge using the 110v cord, Jackery doesn’t know why, so I had to buy 12v cord which Jackery is currently out of stock of, had to find one on amazon, and a USB C adapter, 40w can’t be less or no charging, for said cord, costing another $50.Not a fanI have another cheaper brand, came with all kinds of cords, charge’s fine from my inverter, Jackery is promoted by all kinds of van dwellers, thougt I would try it.I doubt I will by another.Well update on this, today my USB C charging cable melted into the charging port, I receivd the Jackery August 9th and the charging cable and USB C adapter a week or 2 later so it lasted all of say 2 months.I emailed Jackery so I’ll update this when I hear back.
