These are the go to pjs for my husband and son. They are so comfortable and the perfect length. My daughter wears the shorter ones but the boys preferred the longer version. Quality!

Soft and functional, but …
I really like the colors of this navy basketball short outlined in lavender — they’re different from any color combo I’d seen for bball shorts. I also really like the softness of the liner since I often wear just shorts and a t-shirt when I’m at home working or watching tv. And I was really happy to see the description of the two big deep pockets since sometimes you need those for your phone or keys or wallet if you want to take a run out to the store. (When I wear shorts at the gym for pick-up basketball, I always wish I had pockets to put my keys or my card for entry into the gym or my phone in. These may be a bit too nice, too warm, though, for playing a serious, hard game of pick-up.)And there is where I was a tad disappointed in the product I received: as the photos show, one of the pockets had a hole in it! Right along the seam, so perhaps a flaw in the stitching, the pocket opens up, a flaw I felt as soon as I tried the shorts on and put my hands into the pockets to check out their depth. I stuck my ring finger through to show the size of the hole, and then I had just showed the seam line with the tip of that finger. It’s too small a defect to send back, in my opinion, and if I sewed, I could readily stitch it up, but it was still a disappointment. I’ll just have to be mindful of what I put into that pocket if I use it — no lip balm or keys for sure. The pockets also seem to have two pouches within each side, so there is easily room for a phone on one side and a wallet on the other. Overall, nice shorts!

Best Shorts That I Own
If you are in need of comfortable shorts with multi-faceted uses, then look no further. These Jambys shorts are not only comfortable, but they are extremely well made and durable which means that they will likely be a part of your wardrobe for many years to come. The inner lining provides support but it is not too tight thus producing a comfort level that I never experienced with other brands. The built-in drawstring also adds for a tighter fit if desired, even though the large-size fit my 32 inch waist perfectly.What I like best is that these shorts can be worn leisurely (as advertised), but can also be used actively in various outdoor sports that I play (soccer, basketball, volleyball). I have even discovered that they make for comfortable swim trunks as well. I no longer wear my old swim trunks anymore on account them.The current cost may seem a bit high for a pair of shorts, but I think that they are worth the value since they have held up brilliantly for me after months of heavy use. You would definitely be wise to consider Jambys as part of your collection.

Runs small
I ordered these shorts for my son and they run small. The liner is nice but the material is pretty heavy for athletic shorts. It’s so heavy he doesn’t find them comfortable. The shorts are well made but not a good value, too expensive for this pair of shorts.
