About Us
In 1950, Conrad Jobst founded JOBST in Toledo, Ohio. Born in Germany, Conrad was both a mechanical engineer and inventor. He applied his varied expertise and personal experience to the development of gradient compression garments, which relieve the symptoms of venous insufficiency.
Today, JOBST is an Essity owned brand and a global leader in the management of venous and lymphatic diseases.
What is Gradient Compression?
Garments with gradient compression have the greatest pressure at their base and reduce pressure as the compression garment goes up the arm or leg.
This helps encourage the movement of fluids, whether it’s blood circulation or lymph fluid circulation.
The gentle pressure helps blood vessels and lymph vessels absorb fluids more easily, providing relief for tired, aching feet, ankles, and legs and counteracts swelling of arms and legs.
What is a SoftFit Band?
Garments that have the unique JOBST SoftFit technology have a fine silicone yarn knitted into the top band that keeps the stockings in place without digging into your skin.
This band allows the garment to stay in place during activity and makes them much more comfortable to wear.

HIGH QUALITY – Looking for effective leg therapy in a high-quality dress sock? Look no further. These knee high socks offer a fashionable ribbed design that delivers gradient compression therapy, all while looking like a men’s dress sock.
EXTREMELY DURABLE – Don’t purchase the same socks over and over. These firm socks come with a reinforced heel that resists shoe abrasion. They are also made with strong yarn that resists wear and tear so you can enjoy these closed toe socks for years to come.
ALL DAY COMFORT – No more socks that pinch and bind. JOBST for Men is equipped with an all day comfort band that keeps your socks up without pinching or binding. A smooth toe seam and bubble shape add extra comfort to these energizing stockings.
ODOR CONTROL – Keep your legs and feet cool and odor free. Microfibers wick away moisture six times faster than regular nylon for a dryer, cooler feeling. Our special formula fights odor by stopping the growth of fungi and bacteria on the socks.
COMPRESSION CLASS – Compression class: 15-20. These socks are for tired, heavy legs that have a tendency to swell. Suitable for patients with reticular veins.

Hard to get on, glad to get them off, but they work!
I have some problems getting these things on, since they don’t stretch all that much, but that’s the point of the things. And when I get home from work, I sure am glad to get them off. But the box says that they help relieve tiredness and other problems in the legs and feet, and that they do very well. I notice that my feet don’t hurt as bad with them as they did using regular socks. And the reason that my podiatrist recommended them – swollen ankles – are better by some but not all the way.One annoyance I have from these is that I’m not all that tall, and they are about 2-3″ too long for me, and the top of them sits under my knee and is somewhat irritating. That’s the main reason I am glad to get them off in the evening. At the price of nearly $40 a pair, I sure don’t look forward to continuing to buy them, but will probably do so. To make them last as long as possible, I wash them separately (no fabric softner, just like they say on the box), and then I air dry them to avoid the heat of the dryer.

Great product
Great product.

Good fit
Measure and order based on measurements at midday as fluid retention will effect the sizing. If you measure before getting up these socks may be too hard to don. Color and weight are good for summer.

Thin material will quickly result in holes
Jobst skimps on the material for their compression 15-20 mmHg stockings. Even after wearing the socks once a week, after a few months, the socks developed holes. The holes will occur at the area near the big toe, and also at the heel. Additionally, the seam at the toe area is bulky and uncomfortable. Shame on Jobst using cheap materal, and double shame that they charge twice as much as a competitor charges. Look elsewhere. Jobst = cheap = overpriced.

6’5″ tall and they stayed up on 11 hour flight
Purchased for flight to/from UK. I’m tall and they stayed in place for the entire flight. They are not too difficult to put on if you follow directions about turning them inside out androlling up your legs.

15-20 mmHg XL
