About Us

In 1950, Conrad Jobst founded JOBST in Toledo, Ohio. Born in Germany, Conrad was both a mechanical engineer and inventor. He applied his varied expertise and personal experience to the development of gradient compression garments, which relieve the symptoms of venous insufficiency.

Today, JOBST is an Essity-owned brand.

What is Gradient Compression?

Garments with gradient compression have the greatest pressure at their base and reduce pressure as the compression garment goes up the arm or leg.

This helps encourage the movement of fluids, whether it’s blood circulation or lymph fluid circulation.

    The best but too expensive
Jobst do appear to be the best compression socks I’ve ever owned and I’ve tried several brands. They are durable and too expensive.

    great support
These are the exact same stockings that I purchased at a pharmacy with a Dr.’s script but at a much lower price. I have been wearing the original ones for months with no problem. No special care required, I throw them in the washer and dryer. If I decide not to wear them, my legs are swollen and achey by the end of the day.

seems to be the wrong size
These are not the same size as my other pairs, they are much too short. I will not buy these on Amazon again.

Follow the instructions for sizes and level of compression
Great product. It worked like a charm to me.My doctor explained me that with my mild conditions 15-20 mmHg is the right compression. Then, I measured my sizes and chose the product. That’s it. Now, I really like it
