Very comforting for pup
My dog absolutely hates riding in the car and we recently took along road trip of a 1000 miles and back and she would peek out of the window and then settle down in this and it seemed to provide comfort. There are times when I do lower it, so she can be in contact with me. I added a couple of carabiners to extend the length of the Seatbelt strap, which I did replace with a different one. So she can rest her head on the console and get some comfort from me. Overall, I would recommend this brand. I did have a different one that I didn’t even bother using, because the quality wasn’t what I had hoped. The straps that go spoonful the headrests are not the highest quality but they are functional. I have a 2020 Toyota RAV4 hybrid and this fits perfectly on the backseat, no overhang. I definitely feel it is safe for her, and as I mentioned, very calming.

Big enough and easy to install
This was very easy to set up and install. I just had to put the 2 side rails through the fabric, like sliding a curtain over a rod. In my mini van, I had to put the front seat all of the way back, and the middle seat all of the way forward for the best fit with the least resistance on the headrest straps.The belt that attaches to the dog’s harness and hooks into the seatbelt is also easy to install. There is a little slit on both sides of the seat for the lead to fit through.My only complaint is the headrest straps and the lead from the seatbelt to the harness seem very flimsy to me, like a very cheap leash for small dogs.There is plenty of room for my 50 pound, 1.25 year old husky to stand, sit, and lay down. There isn’t enough room for her to stretch out, though.This seat is GREAT for shorter trips. It’s easy to install and dismantle. For longer trips, I’ll use a bigger car crate so she has more room to move around.This is definitely worth the money.

I have a 60lb golden retriever and this is my favorite thing Iâve ever bought for her! She used to be so scared in the car, staying down the whole time and barely looking out the window. Now she stands up and looks out the window all the time! This definitely makes her feel more secure. It also keeps her fur from getting everywhere, which is definitely a perk. She has plenty of room in it even when sheâs laying down! She was a little confused on how to get in it at first, but now she jumps right in.

Easy to use and install
Iâve had this for awhile and Iâd say itâs good quality. Itâs easy to put in the back seat, but it has to connect to the front seat, so it depends on how far/close someone sits to the stearing wheel. Iâm inside of the wheel most times and my car is tiny, so itâs almost like a glove in my car.I just wish my pup would sit in it or want to when weâre going somewhere but sheâs squirrelly in the car, and Iâve nearly given up forcing her into it. Weâve had it since sheâs was smaller and she seemed pea sized in it. After a few months, she grew and is still a bit small for it. The leash buckle attachment thing has really been helpful when sheâs in the car, but it doesnât seem universal. So it clicks into specific belt locking parts in the car; it doesnât like my middle seat lock but it likes window passenger locks.I am not sure if itâs all that comfy, the bottom is flat and doesnât have a cushion. I put a blanket and chew toys down for my pup.TLDR: I like this thing but my dog doesnât, put it on seat behind driver or front passenger seat. Bring a pup cushion. If your dog likes to move around the back seats(circle, go window to window), this is more like a car seat.

We live in the mountains and our new puppy was frightened in the car because she could not maintain her stability when we went up and down the hilly roads. This was a game changer. It installs super easy and she is very happy in it. She now weighs 45 pounds and still has lots of room to be able to lay and sit. Love this thing. We ended up buying a second one for my husbandâs truck.

I love it!I used to have the hammock that stretched across the whole back seat and my dog would walk from one side to the other and then fall over when I turned.Now he sits in there, nice and safe, and he seems calmer than he usually is in the car. Great size for my ‘large’ beagle mix.Comes with a seatbelt and construction really is very easy. Only downside is getting my dog into the seat because it doesn’t open on one side to let the dog in so I unbuckle the front so he can jump in before pulling it up and buckling it back to the front seat. But that means I still risk him scratching my seats with his nails when he doesn’t jump straight into the seat. And he’s too heavy to lift that high.
