Awesome straightener
The product worked wonderful on my hair. It was my first time trying it out. I had washed my hair the night prior so it was very curly and everywhere when I woke up in the am. I made sure to brush out the tangles by section before using the straightening comb. The end product was the picture in this review. I didnât add any product before or after in the picture but you can see that it left my hair shiny. It took about 20 minutes or less to do and alsoI was able to get the product on discount and it was worth buying. I believe it works very similar as a regular straighter but felt smoother as it went through my hair. Also definitely lighter than their other product I use which is the blow dry brush. That one was too heavy for my wrist which is why I decided to try this product. Iâd recommend!

I’m 71 years old and can’t believe I have found a product to straighten my hair so beautifully!!This product line is amazing and this particular hair tool is amazing. I have thick hair. Curly Hair. Frizzy Hair, and Thick shafted hair too. Well this product solved that issue. I love straight hair and this one is better than any flat iron out there. Great hot comb!
I have long hair and have used flat irons for years. Current one is old and was considering buying a new one. Saw an ad for this hot comb and decided to give it a try, knowing I could return if unhappy with it. I’m more than happy! It’s amazing! Quick and easy and I love the way my hair looks. Can’t figure out why it seems to look better than with flat iron even though it’s nearly the same look. Very happy.

works well for thin-medium porous hair. Stopped turning on 8 weeks after purchase
I purchased this after buying the L’ange Le Vite Hot Brush.My hair grew back a completely different texture – porous, curly on top but not underneath and unruly after radiation and chemo for breast cancer. The front pieces in particular kink at the roots and frizz badly even after blow drying with a round brush. My flat iron seemed to make the look of those pieces worse.I liked the hot brush, but found it too large for the front of my front hair near the roots. it works great in back.This Smooth-It Classic Hot Comb, while difficult to change the settings on, is absolutely wonderful for those front pieces. It’s thinner for one. Using it as instructed by combing hair from underneath leaves the front of my hair looking smooth, no kinks as closer to the root and allows me to curve my layers into a soft curved-in style.I use only on the lowest heat. It took less than 3 minutes to turn those unruly pieces into a much less frizzy, smooth style that doesn’t highlight how porous those pieces are. Even though they don’t stay that way when humid out , it’s wonderful to see face framing soft layers now.I’m going to keep both L’ange products (unless the comb is defective and that’s the issue with changing temperature and turning off). They both seem to be gentler on my hair and leave it looking much healthier than when using a flat iron. Also, I don’t use the flat iron between washings as it leaves ridges and fried ends. The hot comb and brush are terrific in that they don’t leave anything but styled hair from bedhead hair.I’m not sure how this would work on very thick strands, but this breast cancer survivor can highly recommend the comb to those with compromised, unruly, frizzed hair with cowlicks.The 4 stars is because of my issue with changing the temperature and having to unplug to turn it off – otherwise, it would be 4.5 starsUpdate: 2 months since purchase. Only used on low once a week for less than 5 minutes at a time. It won’t turn on anymore! What a shock! It’s stored in the box in a dry place.It’s sadly passed the return date! Never fell or took any abuse.

It does a good job of straightening the hair but when you get to the tip you don’t really have a way to have that tension to get the ends good. A flat iron seems to be more root to tip.

I havent opened the box and you can see there is a bunch of small hairs on the box itself, almost pube like 𤮠I ordered a new product not used… theres no seal and the box itself is not closed properly. Theres squished corners and definitely disappointed after being so excited to try. First and last L’ange product. Dont recommend.
