I wasnât sure what to expect. It is an ok scent. The coconut smells more like suntan lotion than anything. This is clearly a summer scent. Itâs a very generic smell. Like I said it closely resembles sun tan lotion. Not something I would reach for often. But 1-2 times in the summer is solid

Holy shinola…this stuff ROCKS!!
Sprayed it on paper and got the waxy iris and some kind of vanilla in the background…nice, but I wasn’t blown away. I let the paper sit while I ate dinner and watched youtube videos…smelling it every now and then. It pretty much stayed the same on paper…that dry waxy iris with some bright citrus and vanilla…very nice.Then I went to take a shower and get cleaned up, after doing the “Triple-S” I decided to try two sprays of “Asad-Z” on chest. Immediately got a creamy vanilla on skin as the scent wafted up to my nose/face. Then the bright Iris hit. I wasn’t waxy like it smelled on paper!!Then I noticed how loud it was…two sprays of most other fragrances aren’t this powerful. THAT is the kind of performance I like!! It is now 2 hours later and I’m still getting the same P-U-S-H from those two sprays to my chest. VERY NICE!!!It almost feels like as this develops, the iris takes a backseat to some kind of dry woodiness and a creaminess that takes over the fragrance.This is very….odd.It’s sweet and creamy vanilla…with this dry woodiness in the background.I’m not getting any coconut or anything like it.This fragrance reminds me of “Victoria Secret – Tease Creme Cloud”…just sweeter and with Iris in it.I’m going to give it a full-day wear to work tomorrow and then I’ll give it a final rating.But so far…this is a winner!!23APR24:Welp, wearing this to work today with a layer of “Burberry Goddess” and it’s WONDERFUL!!The sweetness of “Goddess”, the Dry powderiness of “Zanzibar”….awesome!I figured out why it reminds me of my “VS – Tease Creme Cloud”, its got that “Black Pepper” that stays persistent in the fragrance aura. Its in the background…but its constantly there.Sillage trail on this one….MASSIVE!!I left a trail of Zanzibar from the entry of the security checkpoint all the way to the bus depot on the other side of the building. I could hear people coming into the security checkpoint saying how nice it smelled in the building, lol.Walking around, I can smell “Zanzibar” over the “Goddess” because of the dry-woodiness of “Zanzibar”.I am still picking up on the sweet lavender of “Goddess”, but everything else…ZANZIBAR!I’m still not getting any “Coconut” from this, just the Iris, Vanilla and Black Pepper.But you know what…that’s just find with me.I’d once built a fragrance with Vanilla, Black Pepper and Cedar and loved it while I had it. I moved on and never went back to make another bottle…but this “Zanzibar” gives the same kinda feel and all I’ve gotta do is spray and enjoy.I think I’m going to enjoy this even more once it macerates and gets better in a month or so. I’ll be wearing it at least once or twice a week though. I’m looking forward to seeing how my inner circle feel about it when I wear it around them all…26APR24:I don’t know what happened, but the creaminess factor of this fragrance went into overdrive tonight. OMG, This is Smell Ridiculous.
I love the Coconut and Vanilla I feel like this is would be a great year around fragrance. I don’t see how you could go wrong even if you were going to layer this. The Saltiness and Incense starts peaking through on the Dry Down, I sprayed it about 10 ten times to let it macerate, will update my review. But on first try very happy with my purchase and will continue to explore this scent.

Opening is weird but drydown is great
Bought this due to the hype from influencers and having other Asad’s in my collection.The opening, to me, smells like a rubber glove and sunblock. Really not a fan of the opening.However, after 10-15 minutes the salty, vanilla, and tropical notes come out and it really does smell high quality and good.If you can get past that opening, this is a good summer scent for the price.

Kinda good but kinda strange. I used it a lot this summer by the pool. 5 sprays on the beach towel. Smells good in the sun. My neighbors liked it and asked what it was. We laughed and yelled Zanzabar!On my skin it’s better the hotter it get. Getting sweaty outside is okay with this one. It gets better!

Si crees que se parece a su hermana Lattafa Asad, dejame decirte que no.Zanzibar adopta un camino totalmente distinto, se va por el camino de lo dulce, del caramelo, de la vainilla y obviamente lo que le da ese gran toque es el coco; es por eso que te menciono que Zanzibar tiene un aroma muy distinto a Asad.Es un perfume muy rico, adaptable al dÃa a la noche y todo momento, de hecho podrias hacerlo tu perfume insignia. Zanzibar es de esos perfumes que se suben al tren de aromas dulces tipo JPG, One Million, 212, pero ojo, con su sello caracterÃstico y diferente al resto de la competencia.Aprovecha este momento para comprarla, porque esta en un buen precio, considerando que su lanzamiento fue a principios de este año 2024, asà que es relativamente nueva.

This is nice for clubbing and summer. Great smelling and long lasting stuff. Smells wierd on the first spray. But two days later its perfect. Pleasent and mass appealing. Worth every penny and 15 quid! Smells amazing for the price. Very good!

Ok … Good. Perfume likes and dislikes differ from person to person. Performance is around 3 hrs. Felt like I had a bath in Cabo coconut white rum. Sillage ok.
