My dog has thick nails, dark in color. The clippers worked to trim them and are easy to use, the gaurd is helpful to get the job done safe and quick. Brand new the clippers feel durable, hopefully they last a long time. The light doesn’t help too much with super dark nails, but in general it’s good for extra lighting for the task.
