This is a genius intention, obviously invented by an EMT or first responder. After my father had a piece of steak lodged in his esophagus, praise God it was just below his airway, so he could breathe⦠but was miserable for hours. I am a critical care nurse, I bought this for him the next day! Great tool to have if you have small children, or anyone who has a history of an esophageal structure- it could save a life!
