My corgi puppy loves these!
We got these in our “puppy pack” when we picked up our new puppy. We realized the other treats we bought for her were chewier than expected, not so great for training. So, we tried these and she absolutely loved them immediately. We use these and plain boiled chicken for her training. These treats are really easy to break up so we can control the size of her treats. They do leave a slight residue on our fingers but that will be the case for any treat you are handling. Plus, the price is amazing for these! Great for if you’re on a budget but I’m also genuinely surprised they are not more expensive.My only qualm is that I do wish these were lower calorie. They are 4 calories per treat and I prefer that my training treats are only 1 calorie. However, as I mentioned, these treats are easy to break up into bits and “portion control,” so to speak.

So happy to find a training treat (or any flavored treat) without fish or seafood in it. My allergies are horrible and these work for both me and my dog. These smell good and my puppy enjoys them. They have made training easier for me and more enjoyable for him. They are a great size, i feed whole or halved (an idea a trainer gave a friend who passed on to me to help with if you need to use them frequently not to upset dogs stomach or over load on calories).

Great dog treats as advertised! Cats didn’t like it
I’ve been looking around for treats that are suited to cats because there just aren’t a lot of soft treats on the market for cats (for some reason). Sadly, the cats didn’t have great interest in these–one wouldn’t even try them. No stars taken off for that because they aren’t formulated for cats.My dog thinks they’re great though, so off they go to the dog treat stockpile! They’re a little big for training treats, but they’re very easy to break apart. They feel pretty saturated with oil so don’t leave them on top of anything you don’t want stained! The ingredient list is short and has nothing worrying in it, which is what I look for in everything my animals eat.

High Reward Treat
We found these treats when they were only about $3.xx per bag and then they started marking up the price up to $10.xx. Originally they were nice because they came soft and easy to half with my finger. But I wasnât willing to pay at the marked up price. I Finally found them back on the low end at $5.xx per bag, but when they arrived they were hard and not soft like before. Theyâre still good treats and we use them as high reward training treats. Both pups love the scent and flavor. However, I think Iâll look around for treats that are a little more softer in the future. The size of the treats seem a little big for a small dog/puppy. But theyâd be a good size for a big dog.

Why the sudden $6 markup?? No longer a good value
EDIT: It seems someone read my initial review and chopped $2 off the price. My original statement still stands.-These treats were under $3 and now they’re over double the price. Why? For the original price of $3 they were a good value for the amount in the pouch (which isn’t much, really). My pup really liked the smell and I can tell he enjoyed them. I was looking to buy more but now absolutely NOT when I can get healthier treats for the same price with more in the bag. They are okay for treats but for the sudden price hike I would recommend owners look elsewhere for now. Seriously, $8 for half a handful of treats that begin to crumble after a week? I was going to rate at least 4 stars after the next bag, but 3 stars seems more appropriate now. Looks like they got greedy, which is unfortunate.

Great product!
All three of my dogs love these treats. 10lb yorkie/bichon, 15lb Boston terrier, and 75 lbs pit bull all will do anything for these little nuggets of goodness. Makes training a breeze. Smells like jerky, moist but not sticky, size is a little bigger than a pea. Iâve bought a number of bags and will continue purchasing as long as price stays reasonable.

Yes that’s right…I bribe my dog to to come to me! I praise my 1-year old pup like she just won the Nobel Prize all the time, and we practice the COME command everyday, but let’s be honest here, once outside, my dog has the attention span of a 1-year old pup! Even the most well-behaved dogs need some incentives, so having Lil’ Bitz Wild Salmon + Kelp Training Treats on me is the single most reliable guarantee I have my dog will respond every time and anywhere I call out her name. My pup would drop whatever shenanigans she’s engaged in & come to me immediately…sometimes along with other dogs. In fact this treat makes me the most popular person at the dog park whenever I bring it out. That’s why I don’t leave home without it. The attached photo shows how focused my dog is when I have this treat in my hand…can you tell she just came running back from her shenanigans?!! LOL 🙂
