Not a fan, no lobster taste
Did not really enjoy. There may have been lobster in it, but certainly couldn’t taste it. The consistency certainly isn’t spread or pate either. Sort of a Salmon taste, but definitely not lobster.

Overpowering Salmon, but no Lobster, taste
I love Andrew Zimmern’s program & he only found, as I recall, 2 items that he could not stand. This might become a third! I could not taste LOBSTER at all but had a strong, overpowering salmon taste (listed as 2nd ingredient). When opened it was completely separated into an oil and a minced hard ball in center. Can suggests adding sour cream or cream cheese but adding even both still left a truly awful, lingering taste. It may appeal to others but much as I love lobster & cooked salmon– this is NOT for me.

not even close to description
This product was not what I expected at all. It tasted like a can of stinky tuna, that my cat wouldn’t even eat. I tried mixing it with miracle whip to get it to be spreadable, and was not even close to lobster. very expensive and not edible in my opinion. The cat wouldn’t eat it, so that tells me a lot for a seafood spread.

This is a tasty spread…just not a tasty lobster spread
So, the wife and I like crackers and cheese with the evening cocktail. I bought this on a lark and was appropriately forewarned by the product description that it contained salmon in addition to lobster. It tastes good and I would have no problem eating it again. Problem is it tastes like salmon spread. The lobster may be in there but the lobster flavor does not come through. Not a bad product, just doesn’t taste like lobster and, unfortunately, that’s the name on the label.

Not what I was envisioning.
We did NOT like this spread. It did not taste like lobster and had a very strong fish aroma. I even tried to doctor it with cream cheese and it was unable to mask the taste.

very good taste
this is EXCELLENT! I added it to 2- 8 ounce packages of cream cheese and made a cracker spread of it for a party and it didn’t last long! I had only ordered 1 and needed about 5! lol so im ordering again…more this time. it has a very nice mild not overpoweringly sead foody taste but a nice lobster flavor.

This is discusting!
THIS IS DISCUSTING! There is no discernible lobster. It tastes like they took the guts and disposable parts of fish , minced it all up and pretended it was lobster spread. One bite and I threw out the entire 2 boxes, What a waste of money!! I had even bought expensive crackers just for his spread. Now l’ll end up eating peanut butter on them instead. All the other reviewers must have been thinking of something else because this does not even warrant one star. Skip this truly disappointing, mislabeled, CRAP! Woww it is sooooo bad!
