Best sounds
I usually have to have sound on for a few hours while I sleep so it lets me stay asleep since I have insomnia at the age of 63. These sounds are perfect the volume is easy to control and the choice of sounds is wonderful. I love Brown noise and pink noise and white noise I love the rain I love Thunder and the ocean and this machine is small enough and it doesn’t take up a lot of room it’s quality made, and I’m glad I purchased it. I love the fact that it has a timer feature the design is perfect and the functionality is wonderful

Helps me fall asleep
This has several “white noise” sounds that are helpful if you’re using to having “noise” at bedtime.There are four settings – one hour, two hour, three hours and all the time. Some of us wake up if the ambient sound changes, so having the infinity setting is great – I can leave it on all night to help me stay asleep.Has quite a loud sound, too. There is a dial volume control so you can set it to your preferred volume. It’s very small and light so it would be great for someone who spends a lot of time on the road or who has noisy neighbors.I like this and would recommend it. It has a USB port plug for the wall with a micro USB to the machine. I guess all electronic stuff comes that way now, so you can always just plug it into your computer if you need an electrical source (in your car or something).

Good for the price
I got this to play sounds for my toddlers and I while we sleep. I used to play white noise on the tv to sleep but it would over heat my system so I looked into one of these devises.Upon receiving the box, I was very surprised at the size, as it was much smaller than anticipated.It came with a charging cord and a box. The cord is about the length of a regular phone charger.The machine worked right away once I plugged it in but will only work while plugged in.It has a bunch of noise options like white noise, rain and thunder, river/ocean, birds, fireplace, etc. I like the one that sounds like car or airplane noise. It is pretty loud for the size but itâs better for a bedroom than it would be for a living room or larger areaThere are timers so it will turn off automatically after a certain period of time. Very nice not to have to think about turning it off once my toddlers wake up and the day has already gotten away from me.It does not have a light which is wonderful cause I prefer to sleep in the dark with my blackout curtains.Overall, itâs a decent device for a decent price. If youâre looking for something super loud Iâd say look elsewhere. But for convenience and function this is a win win for me.Thank you for coming to my Amazon review

Simple technology
Glad to have this device! Love that it’s just simple technology. Many sound choices. Love the 3 hour max setting. Just start it at bedtime & make sure glow light of power button is off. No annoying lights or ads during precious sleep! Has helped in my falling asleep. If awake later, just restart the sound.

Great little sound machine and without lights!
This is a nice sound machine that does NOT come with lights. I hate having lights on at night when I am trying to sleep, so I looked at a lot of sound machines before I finally found this. The machine is small enough to fit on a narrow shelf, and loud enough to cover noises. Multiple choices for what you want to listen to. I usually use the “rain” selection. Also you can set a timer to turn itself off after a certain number of hours. I don’t use that function but it is there if you need it.

Loud sound machine
Sound wasnât loud enough so I typed in âloud sound machineâ and this one came up so I ordered it. I got it a few days ago and set it up and I love it. It is very loud and I only have it halfway turned up. I highly recommend it so far.

I’ll start by saying I like this device. Many of the sounds are soothing. I wish they had more than one ambient music selection like they do with the 5 (I think) traditional piano options. While I enjoy piano when I’m sleeping the sharp notes are more apt to keep me in a light sleep instead of letting me drift into the deep sleep I’m needing that I get from the rhythmic hum of meditation sounds. Also I have no idea who sleeps to the sound of a dripping faucet but perhaps that’s just me, something for everyone I guess. I’ll point out that one of the sounds I can’t identify, my best guess is hail bouncing off wood or maybe wooden sticks clacking?There are 30 sounds though some of them are just the same sound edited for a different frequency or through a different filter. The machine has the ability to play on a time setting or continuously and there is not a loop seam I have detected. As I said, overall the sounds have been great.Here is my problem. When I got my machine it was obvious it had been returned and they didn’t seem to put it through any type of quality control to verify it worked before shipping it back out. The clear sticker holding the lid had been cut and when it was opened there was no twist tie on the cord that new items come with and some of the packaging was disheveled. I was a bit concerned but I plugged it in and it worked perfectly and showed no signs of damage so I dismissed it. A week later and the device is still working great.I believe the problem is in the description. The photo description shows it uses a USB C power cord which, at least to me (and probably the previous purchaser), would indicate it is rechargeable since I didn’t actually read the power source description and wrongly went off the picture. They also claim in their description “it can be easily put into your backpack or suitcase, let you anytime, anywhere Easily carry sleep sounds.” No, it is not rechargeable. It has to be plugged in so you cannot *anytime, anywhere* carry sleep sounds. You can only carry the box to somewhere you can plug it in to play sleep sounds. Luckily I have a power source next to the bed, unfortunately I have to turn it up too loud to be soothing for me in order for my spouse to hear (or vice versa) and because it has to remain plugged in to work, we can’t place it in a different part of the room. So if you are considering it, be aware the device is limited.
