I have had tinnitus since I was young. The ringing is too loud when I am trying to go to sleep at night where it is quiet. I would try a radio or a fan. I had a clock radio that had sounds and when it stopped working I was back to having a hard time getting to sleep. This device is small and it works for me. It does not bother the wife so it is a win win. With all the different sound to choose from you can find the right one for you. Various volume helps a lot. Another nice thing is you can take it with you on trips. So get one.

Itâs like a magic pill for noise pollution!
Iâve been using this product for about a year now in my home office. I was desperate to drown out the incessant barking from a next door neighborâs dog so I could concentrate on work. Iâm also on the phone a lot and didnât want the dog to be heard in the background. We did try talking to our neighbor about the dog, which had minimal effect. Since using this device, my stress level has gone way down and I am much less distracted. This tiny little machine packs a big punch! It can get REALLY loud, but Iâve figured out the ideal volume for me (about halfway up) and that, combined with my bluetooth ear piece which reduces background noise, ensures I can have professional phone calls again and no one has ever mentioned they canât hear me. The device also helps when my son is home from school on a break and wonât stop yelling at his video game in the basement (haha). At first, I felt resentful that due to my inconsiderate neighbor, I had to purchase this device, but now Iâve gotten so used to it I barely think about it anymore. Itâs the first thing I turn on after hitting the light switch when I go into my office each morning. In fact, I love it so much I just purchased a second one for my husband to use in the basement, when the dog starts going off. Itâs so affordable, I may eventually end up getting one for every room in the house. It also blocks out loud construction noises and other annoying environmental sounds. It does begin to auto-shut off after about 2 hrs (not sure if thatâs a built in feature or if I could somehow bypass it), but once I notice the sound decreasing, I just hit the power button and itâs another 2 hrs of being in my peaceful cocoon.

Great for a baby, but we love it too!
We got this for white noise for our babies nursery and it works perfectly. We even bring it with us when we travel because it’s so small and easy to pack. For the size the sound quality is really good, and there are so many sound options. Controls are easy to use, and the timer function works well, but we don’t use it often.

The 20 sounds, some of them are useless or duplicates. I played with the device a few times when I first got it to get the hang of it.- You can keep the device on indefinitely if you want- Press the button to cycle through the 20 sounds- Timer up to 5 hours which is pretty good- If you can’t seem to get the device to go back to the sound #1 (default white noise sound), then you can hold the power button and plug the device back in and it will reset back to the beginning.- Sound volume and quality are good, not sold on the “non repeating” feature as advertised, but may be true- Small footprint is good for home or travel- Warranty??

This Little Black Box is Magical
One of the best items I’ve ever spent money on. I was having trouble sleeping at one point, and for a while would turn the fan on in my bathroom and let it run all night, to provide white noise, and also to block out the repetitive sounds my senior dog makes lol. (For context, she is very old and had some teeth pulled, so she smacks her mouth and lips a lot. She also can get anxious sometimes and likes to lick her bed, apparently it helps soothe her. None of that is her fought and I don’t hold it against her, but as you can imagine, the sounds are not the greatest thing to hear when trying to fall asleep haha.) Anyways, I’m a very worrisome person and I began to get paranoid that leaving my bathroom fan on all night could be a potential fire hazard. So I stopped using it and began looking into noise machines. I looked at so many different kinds and eventually settled on this one. It ended up being perfect and is everything I wanted, plus more.Some cool features: You can change the timer for how long it stays on, or set it to just run all night, which is my go to setting. If you do set a timer, the white noise it creates doesn’t just stop suddenly, it slowly fades out so not to disturb your sleep, which I think is a really cool part of its design. The volume buttons are easy to locate and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. It also has a plethora of different sounds to use. My most favorite is the sound of heavy rain fall. I also use the bathroom fan sound quite a lot as well. Another feature I like is that it doesn’t have a ton of bright lights on it. If you choose to turn the timer on, it will show a very faint dot based on which timer you pick. Because I let it run all night, there aren’t any faint dots that show up. It’s also very travel friendly, very similar to tossing a phone in your bag with its charger and walking out the door. I’ll most likely buy a second one in the upcoming months for when I travel, that way my other one can stay at home. As far as sound quality goes, I give this noise machine a 10/10. The noises aren’t scratchy or grating, but very natural and soothing. I’ve not had any issues with the volume or adjusting it and the speaker sounds great too.This little box has been a game changer for me in terms of falling asleep more easily, and I’m really glad I purchased it. If you’re worried about it being complicated to use, don’t be. It’s super easy to setup, and basically plug and play. I’ve said it already, but I’m really happy with this purchase and it’s definitely one of the best items I’ve spent money on. It’s a quality item at a reasonable price and I couldn’t be happier with it.Please Note: I was not paid to write this review. I was not given free merchandise to write this review. good price and good quality – lots of options
I didn’t pay attention to the dimensions when ordering, so the unit was smaller than expected when it arrived, but it produces a decent sound volume (more than I need) for its size. The small size actually came in handy when I decided to travel with it. There are several sound options to choose from, but I stick with the simple brown noise option to drown out distracting noises that might wake me. The train sound had potential as a soothing repetitive sound, but they chose to include a train whistle as part of the sound track, which I found odd, as it ruined the otherwise relaxing rhythmic sound. The shut-down timer option is convenient. I can keep it on all night, then bump it to a 1-hour shutoff when I get up, so it masks my noise while my wife continues to sleep, but she doesn’t have to bother turning it off when she gets up.
