Effective in reducing night pain associated with cubital tunnel syndrome
I work in orthopedics, so I think my expectations for this brace and form of treatment (of night bracing) is more realistic than most of the other reviewers. This brace, along with other night splints, are designed to alleviate or lessen pain at night, which is typically the worst time for this type of syndrome because people often lay with bent elbows for long periods of time, putting pressure on the lunar nerve. This brace will alleviate pain and numbness associated with ulnar nerve compression at night. It will not completely eliminate day pain too when only worn at night. As for the fit, Iâm skeptical that people arenât applying correctly. I have skinny arms (biceps diameter: 11 inches, forearm diameter: 9.5 inches) and Iâm an active/rough sleeper and the small/medium fits me well and hasnât fallen off after a week of wearing. For my case specifically, I am currently experiencing significant cubital tunnel syndrome 24/7 because Iâm 8 months pregnant. My day pain and numbness remains the same, but my hand strength is much better when I wake up because my nerve isnât compressed while I sleep. My night pain has been relieved. I was waking up every 1-2 hours with severe elbow and forearm pain along with numbness of the ulnar nerve distribution (pinky, ring and 1/2 of middle finger) that would prevent me from falling back asleep and then prevent me from holding a tooth brush or opening orange juice in the morning because of the weakness caused by the nerve compression. The brace alleviated that for me. I will still wake up occasionally with pain because I would hyperextend (the brace prevents flexion past 20 degrees and hyperextening more than 5 degrees, but it rarely happens and the quality of sleep has drastically improved and the amount of pain has drastically decreased. The summary is that this brace did not alleviate 100% of the pain, but it drastically reduced it and improved my quality of sleep and hand strength in the morning. I cannot sleep without it and am very thankful I purchased it. If your night pain and numbness is severe and preventing you from sleeping and/or causing weakness, then I highly recommend it! The most effective treatment is a steroid injection, but an orthopedic physician will want to know you tried the conservative treatment of a brace first. This is a reasonably price, effective first option for treatment.

Poor sizing
I originally purchased the Small/Medium size. It was just slightly too small. The metal bar was pressing against my elbow causing a reddened area.I returned it and ordered the Lg/Xl. This one is very large. I have finally been able to get a decent fit, but almost have to wrap the straps doubled on themselves. This company needs to make a size in between.I do like the overall support of the brace. I am able to bend my elbow slightly while I sleep, which helps to decrease the pain. I have tried a couple of other braces and this one is the most comfortable.I would give it 5 stars if the sizing was better.

Great for nighttime pain
This cuff fits well over my elbow and really helped with pain reduction. Only needed to use it for a few weeks and pain was much better.

Not useful for me
This item is well made and adjustable. But I couldnât sleep with my arm confined to a straight position. Also, impossible to use my right hand to scroll or text with this on.

Exactly what I needed
Mars Wellness elbow immobilizer-stabilizer is easy to put on and the most comfortable splint I have worn. I would highly recommend it.

Donât do what I did!
If you are reading this then Iâm sorry that you too are having elbow troubles! Hang in there! Mine are injury related after a nasty fall on the ice and humerus fracture last January. I wanted to share that I had a misunderstanding with my elbow surgeon about this product. I thought he said I should be keeping my elbow straight at all times. So I bought this brace and proceeded to wear it 24/7 for two and a half weeks. Dâoh! He meant to say that I should only brace to try to keep it straight WHILE SLEEPING. So now my elbow is very stiff and my flexion is poor. It should be fixable but itâs still annoying to lose the good progress I made in pt. Donât do what I did, be sure you are on the same page as your doctor about how you will use this brace before you go and buy it. It does work great for sleeping, but I think you could also save your money and make your own with a towel and duct tape if you prefer. Also, I just had ulnar nerve transposition surgery and it went well and my pain afterward has not been too bad. Stay strong and good luck everyone with healing your elbows!

Awkward to use on right arm (with your left hand).
Item was recommended to me by a therapist to use on my right elbow for ulnar nerve entrapment. Unfortunately, I ordered a size too large and had to return it. Since it was too large, I found it awkward to manipulate and get it to fit properly with my left hand. It might have worked better if I had ordered a smaller size and, therefore, not had so much excess material to work with. I will probably order a smaller size to see if that works. I found the item to be well made and the price reasonable.

Very good elbow stabilizer
I’ve had a chance to wear this elbow stabilizer for a little more than an week now and it has worked out great so far. I wear it at night to stabilize my elbow. We’re seeing issues of carpal tunnel in my right arm from the elbow to the fingers, symptoms of tingling and numbness at night. My family doctor recommended an elbow stabilizer to help control the issues. I picked this one from previous reviews. Since wearing this and an wrist stabilizer I don’t have the tingling and numbness I had before and getting a better night sleep, Yea, it’s a pain not being able to bend the elbow completely, but I don’t notice it once asleep. The only drawback is tightening it with the Velcro straps by myself, and it does tend to slip down at night during sleep. But still, I wake up pain free. I did have my hands injected for trigger finger, and that may have attributed to the painless nights in the fingers. I’m not a doctor, but the sleeve has helped. We will still be testing the nerves for any carpel damage from the elbow to the hands.
