I was skeptical but it really works!
I have to admit I was skeptical this would work and was also nervous my 3 year old either wouldnât tolerate this or just not care about the taste. Sheâs been an avid thumb sucker since the day was born, and it kept getting worse as she got older Weâve tried other methods that have only either temporarily stopped the thumb sucking, or didnât help at all. After using this, she put her thumb in her mouth just once, and has never done it again! I was shocked that it only took one time. She didnât even have a huge reaction or anything. Just rinsed her mouth out and never tried again. A month later and weâre still going strong. We donât ever catch her even trying it anymore. So thankful for this!

No More Sucking
My son sucked his finger since he was born, he is 7 years old now. we tried lots. finally got this and put it on 2x a day, just the finger he sucked, and within 1 month he STOPPED! He no longer needs the nail polish but we still use it once in a while to make sure he beat the habit. It taste SO BAD! the first 3 nights were hard b/c he would wake up crying and wanting to brush his teeth. but he wanted to quit so we had no issues putting it on each day! MOM WIN!

Stopped Thumb sucking in 1 day!
Our 5 year old was starting kindergarten and weâd tried many tactics to help her stop sucking her thumb to no avail. I finally ordered this nail paint. First we painted my daughterâs nails a fun color then I put the clear bad tasting stuff on. I explained to her this would help her habit. The minute she tried to suck her thumb she said, âick that tastes so bad!â She didnât suck her thumb all night and I reapplied the clear paint the next day for good measure and she never sucked her thumb again!

Okay it definitely stops me in biting my nails, itâs got an awful aftertaste and without something to drink OTHER than water, it lasts a very long time. However, use with caution especially if youâre someone who bites their cuticles as-well, if you get this in a cut it burns really bad LOL, which is probably expected but I didnât think about it! Also, showering causes the taste to disappear quite quickly so I would recommend applying after a shower if the taste disappears!w

toddler was sucking fingers and dentist recommended this product since it was moving his jaw line and causing issues! at 3 years old, we applied this on his fingers at night and the nasty bitter taste was a major aversion and it took less than 2 weeks and now he doesnât chew or bite his fingers or suck on them! works like a charm!

Works too well
Mavala Stop tastes disgusting. Yes, that is the point, but it is on my nails, and I use my hands for a lot of things. I tried it today and had parmesan bites from Dominos. No matter how I picked it up, the Mavala Stop would get on my food and made it taste disgusting. Now, because it was on my food, it was on my lips. My boyfriend is over today meaning when he kisses me, he has to taste it. Every time I lick my lips, I taste it. And this is all because I tried to eat food with my hands. Honestly I would rather keep biting my nails than have to deal with this, because there’s nothing I can do even though I didn’t directly put my nails in my mouth. I shouldn’t have to use a fork on finger foods just to avoid a bad taste when I’m not biting my nails. The product worked very well, but the inconvenience makes it not worth it.

My daughter is 11 and has sucked here thumb since she was 3 months old. Iâve tried so many things to get her to quit. Worked in two weeks
