This is a must have brush
I have a service dog. He’s my guide dog as I am blind. I have tried so many different brushes. Some recommended from his training school and some I found on my own. Never mind all the money I’ve spent buying different tools to clean up the dog hair. Nothing came close to this brush. He felt so soft and we took so much hair off of him despite the fact, he gets combed nearly every day that we could’ve built another dog, he seems much happier as well. It is so easy to use. It doesn’t seem to pull because he stood there patiently. it works amazingly well, fast and took about two seconds to clean it. if you have a dog, this is definitely a must. I have paid twice as much money for brushes that did not work nearly as well.

Great for cats with undercoat problems
My 4 year old cat has long black fur and she is not that good at grooming herself. On top of that she has issues with her undercoat so she gets mattes more near her tail. I have tried many different kinds of brushes/combs to try to brush out the mattes before they get so bad that I have to shave them off. However my cat hates to be brushed because all of the other brushes I bought it the past would pull on the mattes but not really remove them. I would even try to loosen the mattes up so it would be easier for the brush to get them but to no avail and I would end shaving them off anyway. I had to do some research because obviously the generic brushes that say they “work” on long cats do not work for me. I was surprised when the words ‘cat hair rack” popped up in my search bar so I just got on Amazon and looked up “cat hair rack” and happened upon this brush and bought it because it was cheep. To my surprise it actually works perfectly! The first time I used it looked like my cat had exploded on my back porch there was so much hair! And it was able to remove her mattes with little to no pulling. Don’t get me wrong she still hates being brushed but I can brush her for longer periods of time now before she starts trying to bite me. I have also noticed a dramatic difference it made for her matting issue. I use it once or twice a week and I hardly see or feel them anymore when I brush her. I love it!!

    Holy Hades, it’s a miracle
I’ve tried all sorts of brushes for my longhaired Siamese. Poor fellow is starting to have hairballs and cannot, for the life of him, penetrate that coat. I’ve tried other brushes before – regular brushes, the infamous furminator, and the “de shedding glove,” but none of these seemed to pull off more than a few wisps of his fine hair. I was skeptical when I looked at this product because the teeth of the brush were so far apart, and the hooks didn’t look that promising. I thought, “that’ll just glide right through his fur and do nothing.” But other people’s reviews with equally fluffy cats made me buy it.So. Glad. I. Did. I don’t know what magic this thing has, but it pulls out clumps of fur. The chunk in the picture is only half as much as I was finally able to grab by the end of our session. And beware, your carpet will be coated in fur, and so will you. He doesn’t want to sit still for it, so I keep a treat container nearby and let him paw and shove at it for a bit as I brush. Then I give him one and get a few shots in at his hind quarters while he chews. Another thing I noticed is that I pull out a lot more fur if I work the way a cat licks. Short, quick strokes really do the trick. Go in alternating directions to grab more – down strokes, then side strokes, then down again. Grabs a ton.I also listened to another reviewer who recommended the small for cats. Great advice, thank you whoever you were. Perfect size for my tank of a Siamese. He’s a happy boy now that there’s a lot less of him. Product seems sturdy like it will last a long time . Thank you Maxpower Planet Pet!

The Right Tool for the Job?
My vet clinic recommended this tool. There were different brands that look similar but don’t have the sharper edges for cutting through tangles. My kitty has long to medium length fur and apparently has reached that age where she can no longer groom herself to keep the tangles in check. She hates being brushed which just adds to the difficulty of removing them. I used the side of the brush with the sharpened teeth because they seemed to do a better job of removing her thick undercoat of loose fur. They did not, however, work efficiently to unsnarl even loose tangles in her coat. The teeth would get caught in the fur, often where a loose tangle was hiding, and pull which sent her into a fit of rebellion. But the worst part was that both the metal teeth and the silicon (?) handle generated enough static electricity that it became really difficult to discard the fur. It clung to the handle, the teeth, my fingers and clothes; even vigorous shaking and scraping barely dislodged the fur. Good thing I wore a long flannel apron during this session where I could wipe my fingers and the brush. I also chose to do this outdoors for the same reason. Both these issues made for only a 4 star review. It did remove a generous amount of fur with each swipe and for that reason alone, I will continue to use it (much to Miss Cassie’s regret). It might work better on an animal with less undercoat or shorter hair, but if your pet has a thick coat and lots of loose hair, be prepared for the fur to fly!

    Very effective product
I bought this for my son to use on his dog who sheds a lot. The dog loves the special attention she gets while cleaning up her coat and it has cut down on her shedding. Great value, it’s easy to use and I recommend to others!

    Should have gotten this sooner.
Easy to clean, easy to use, and actually works!! We’ve been trying to find a good deshedding brush for a long time. Grip is comfortable and It’s not real bulky or heavy. I used it on my cat for about 15 min the first time and ended up with enough loose fur to make another cat (I would have taken a Pic of that but my son decided to compact it into the size of a baseball and now it’s just one giant matted ball lol) I would definitely recommend this for anyone with long haired cats. I’d be surprised if this didn’t work for dogs as well.

    Works great!
We bought this for my GS dog who was shedding quite a bit. It worked great on his undercoat. After using it three days his shedding was under control. We now only use it twice a week on him and it keeps the excess hair in control. Great product!

This is the best brush I have ever used. My dog sheds a lot. I use every other day. It has done wonders, my vacuum hardly picks any pet hair now. Very satisfied with the purchase. Total value for money. If only I had known about this brush earlier.

I had no idea my dog had so much fur. I just knew it was flying all over my room and shedding everywhere. This brush works amazeballs. It’s taking time because I have to little sessions as he has always hated being groomed. Buy it! you won’t regret it

I’m blown away by this deshedding brush. It works great. My girl is a Lab, Border Collie, Pittie cross. She sheds half her body weight everyday so wanted to get a brush that actually did what it said and this is the brush. She has a double coat and has a little longer hair at the neck and down the back. I used it when it was very windy here and it looked like it was snowing.Best of all she loves getting brushed so bonus for me.Spend the money. It was $22.00 for me and worth every penny. It will save lots of money not having to take her to the groomer.
