Perfect Pancakes
My son has had a set for years; they are sturdy pieces that handle toddler handling. This toy encourages pretend play and interactions. We bought this set as a gift and they loved it too!

Durable, adorable, and a decent price.
M&D are the top dogs when it comes to making children’s sets like this. The wood makes sure they last, they are adorably covered in little food designs, and I love how it has a stove under the box. Sure, you can buy a 50 piece set of kitchen goods for 40, but this one will last you, so long as you store the pieces in the box!

Great set! Perfect for toddlers!
Just bought this set for my 2 year old daughter and she loves it! The toppings stick on to the pancake with velcro and it’s easy enough for her to remove and change them often. The size of the griddle is perfect for her small hands to hold without any trouble and flip the pancakes on the griddle. Overall quality of each piece is very good. The knife in our set actually was chipped when we opened the box – which could have given someone a splinter with the wood exposed; I called Melissa and Doug and they will immediately replace the knife. Definitely recommend this set! We now have pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Endless Fun!
I gave this to my grandchildren when they were 2 and 4, now 4 and 6 and they still live playing with it at Grandmaâs house! They take turns cooking, serving, âeatingâ, taking orders, etc. With great toppings like bananas, chocolate chips and blueberries. As well as butter, there are endless combinations and ways to play. I love that the storage box converts to âthe stoveâ. Another great toy from Melissa and Doug

I wish M&D products were as nice as Hape and Plan, but they just aren’t as great quality. However, I didn’t like Hape’s equivalent pancake set. This one has much more to add, and my son loves the “cutting” aspect of play toys, so this is a hit with him. There is velcro on pretty much all the pieces, even the “frying pan” for extra playability.One thing to note though, the blueberry/banana/chocolate pieces are pretty small, if you’re buying this for a younger toddler you might want to watch out, they could be choking hazards. My son is 3 so it’s fine for him, but when his little sister starts to crawl I probably have to keep a watch over them. Obviously the suggested age matches that in the product description, but some people buy play food pretty young so keep an eye out for that.

Viendo otros juguetes de importación uno piensa que el precio de estos es muy caro pero son de muy buena calidad, a mi hijo les fascinó poder hacer su desayuno favorito (de madera claro). No me habÃa percatado que las piezas tenÃan velcro para unirlas y simular que se corta con el cuchillo.Creo que si compraré mas productos de la marca cuando tenga oportunidad y sobre todo las promociones de Amazon.
