I processed about 50 lb of apricots, pluots, and apples from our trees this year, canning jam, preserve slices, and applesauce. I needed a lot of fresh fruit preserver for such a volume of food. I am on my final container of Mrs. Wages Fresh Fruit Preserver, and I am happy with its effectiveness in keeping cut and cleaned fruit from browning while I processed large batches. I’ll be happy to purchase again.

Wonderful for keeping cut fruits from turning brown!
Great stuff! Not only do I use this when canning, I also use it to keep fruits from turning brown when I make up a fresh fruit platter. It really does keep the fruits (like bananas, apples, pears, etc.) from turning that ugly brown color! And it’s cheaper than Fruit Fresh (plus, it doesn’t have a lot of other chemicals added to it).
