  1. caw : fun game nice colors, relaxing. i really like it.

    Sturdy, long, wide and safe.
If you have nonweight baring legs you want to feel safe when transferring. This board has really helped me during my recovery. I love the length and width of it. It’s also more comfortable than hard wood. If you need to slide check this one out.

I do not recommend. Purchase a different slide board.
Very flimsy. It did not feel like it would support anyone’s way let alone someone who is up to the weight limit listed on this product. When I purchased this, I had hoped that it would solve quite a few problems with transfers from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to commode, wheelchair toilet, etc. Instead I found that it was definitely not at all like what I had hoped – which was for a sturdy product. The last thing you want when you are transferring any kind of distance, including from the wheelchair to the front seat of a car, is to feel as though you’re out of control and about to fall. I don’t recommend this product, especially if you have difficulty with proprioception.

Slippery when not wet, which is good!
I use this transfer board for transferring to and from my Quantum Edge power wheelchair, and it works well. It may be a little too wide for transferring to and from my manual wheelchair as it is thin and flexible and needs a little more resting support that is not available because of the rear wheel interference on a manual wheelchair.

    Great Transfer Board
Wife is a T4/5 incomplete para. This board is longer than it absolutely needs to be for chair-to-bed transfers, and there is a shorter model. The plastic surfaces are shiny and quite slick, which is what you generally want for transfers. It’s more bendy than a plywood slide board, but still feels solid and controllable. I’d hoped this board would be easier to slide under her butt to set up the transfer, but it’s really about the same as a thin plywood board. Haven’t tried transferring to a car seat yet, but I’m guessing this board will be great for that. Plastic material seems quite strong, and not so soft that it will get nicked up like a plywood board does.

    flimsy
I imagine this board would be good if you want to move from one side of the bed to the other, but otherwise, it is dangerous. My brother (who is able-bodied) decided to try it before I did. He placed two chairs near each other to see if the board would hold him. As he sat on it the board bent and he hadn’t even placed all his weight on it, if I had tried it I would have found myself on the floor. So if you need to move over a surface it probably will work since it is good to slide on, but if you need to transfer from chair to bed, or chair to car it will not work.

    Transfers made easier!
My husband’s legs below the knees cannot support him. This transfer board is head and shoulders above the wooden one for “scooching”from the recliner to the wheelchair and back. It wide, flexible and durable!

    Better than wooden ones!
This works great for transferring my daughter in and out of bed. It’s flexible and smooth. No more splintering from the stiff wooden slide boards.

I will be returning this item because it is not safe
It is way too thin and bows in the middle, looks like a cutting board
