I’ve Been Purchasing This for 24 Years
I bought this 24 years ago for my first dog and I’ve been buying one every year since for all the dogs I’ve had. It’s cute, plays the birthday song but can’t be shut off. It’s thick and on the medium size. Be prepared to hear Happy Birthday music until it breaks. Most of the time it lasts for a few weeks and then breaks after being bitten enough. Sometimes it becomes destuffed. Other times it just loses its fun when the song stops. It’s perfect for a pup’s bday!

Doggie loves this Toy
This is one of my Boston Terrier’s favorite toys! This is the first toy she’s had that plays music and seems to love the song it plays even more than her squeakies. It is very sturdy. I bought the first one on another online store and it finally stopped working after a year. I found the same toy on Amazon and purchased two of them so she has a spare! I hope Multipet comes out with more dog toys that play other tunes.

Make sure your dog isn’t scared of music coming from toy
So, got this for my dog. It seems to be a good quality and he was excited to see it until…I didn’t realize when you squeeze it, it plays Happy Birthday. So, when he grabbed it and it started playing the song, my dog got scared of it. I tried to place it down in front of him but he stood staring at it like he didn’t know what to make of it.So, if your dog is used to toys that play songs when squeezed, this is probably great. But, caution if you are uncertain.

Like all multipet products, if my dogs didn’t love them, I wouldn’t keep buying them.
These toys last all of 10 minutes, but I swear my dogs will play with nothing else these days. Frankly, I enjoy it more when they are broken, but I’ll keep buying because there is nothing more adorable than watch my pups lose their minds with delight when I pull a pair of these cakes out of another Amazon box.I appreciate the price as I’ve had to purchase these cakes over 5 times! — see updated commentEdit: price went up from $5.00 to $7.90 (doubt inflation has anything to do with this) so I will no longer will purchasing these items as again, they are easily destroyed in minutes. I’ve apparently purchased 14 of these (double order seven times). I believe in letting the market manage itself, so would recommend that folks spend 8 bucks buying sturdier toys until the vendor needs us to buy its fall apart in minutes products again.2023.09.20 Edit: the price is currently 4 for the price of 3 with a coupon code, so it’s only 92 cents more expensive than the original $5 price point earlier this year. Snatching up these at the discount rate so that my dogs can stop trying to find which of the birthday 14 cakes in the house still makes noise (none of them do) It’ll be a nice surprise for them, and I’m happy to buy this joy maker at this price point as I still refuse to buy this at the current default price point of $7.90. Would recommend if you want to try this toy out that you buy it asap with the coupon code.
