Excellent Nasal Strips
I purchased the Massner Nasal Strips to see how they compared to the âname brandâ that Iâve been using for years. I have a history of breathing issues that require me to use a positive pressure machine (CPAP) and I also use the nasal strips. One common issue with nasal strips is that they may not adhere well and may come off during the night. These strips adhere to the nose very well and Iâve had no issues at all with them and they are cheaper than the name brand. I recommend these to anyone who needs breathing assistance while sleeping.

For the price I love these. The adhesive isnât as strong as other brands, but I prefer it because they remove easier and donât damage my skin. They last the whole night and throughout the next day if I leave it on.Can we somehow turn these into a trendy look so I can wear them out in public and breathe? Hahah

Stripped the skin off my nose
The glue on these is so strong that even though I followed the instructions to use wet the strip before removing it, peeled the skin on my nose. I would even wait for a while after wetting the strip in the morning for the moisture to loosen the glue – that didn’t work either. I wish I can return these strips, but returns are not allowed. I’m switching back to the brand I previously used even though it’s a tad more expensive.

Strong adhesive
Breathe Right strips have a hard plastic spanner and their adhesive is very friendly to remove but always left a film on my nose. These strips are a softer material that I was skeptical would work but they definitely do. Be careful though, as the adhesive is pretty aggressive. I peel the backer off now and touch the adhesive a few times to get a little oil from my finger tips to lessen the strength. They come off smooth and clean in the morning but be gentle when removing. Only thing about them is the quality control. The back side has a cut thatâs supposed to be in the center so you peel the halves off to expose the adhesive. Iâve run into several that are off center quite a bit and a couple that were cut through the strip completely at an angle. The Breathe Rights were always spot on but they cost a little more. Even with the oops strips, I think you still save a little money.

TLDR: theyâre good, not great. They work, but theyâre not the best product, and I think they rope you in by offering a bulk deal.UPDATE: bought breathe rights strips because I forgot these on a trip, and the breathe rights have a higher adhesive residue left over after using them. That bugs me a little more than these, so I bought these again.I am diagnosed with sleep apnea, and pretty sure I have a deviated septum, and deal with congestion that is frequent and alternates from nostril to nostril throughout the day. I use a sleep apnea machine, and when Iâm most congested, pair it with a nasal strip.6 month review:What I like: they are less expensive. They do work, and assist with breathing through the nose with less restriction. They are better than nothing. The adhesion works well for me, I tend to have oilier skin and if I donât place it right I can take it off and adjust placement, and I donât remember a time where itâs fallen off. Iâm younger (under 30), so my skin isnât as sensitive when I take it off in the morning.What I donât like: they donât open up sinuses better than breathe right, or Walgreens brand. In my opinion, I havenât noticed a difference between breathe right and Walgreens in performance. Last night I found a left over Walgreens brand one, and used it. The adhesion and stiffness of the flex of the Walgreens is superior. Stiffer means that it pulls your skin up higher, and the adhesions stays with it too. I was breathing with less restriction out of my nose for that one too.Will I buy again? Iâm not sure, I still have 20-30 left, and I donât use them every night. Honestly a 100 pack is a big commitment. If you donât use them every day. Iâm just a penny pincher. Because I donât use them every night, I might consider buying Walgreens again, because it is cheaper than breathe right and itâs easy to use coupons. But then again, I might want to use them more because of how much better they work. Iâm definitely overthinking this, but hey, if youâre reading this, you are too. Buy them if you share them with a spouse or someone, if you donât share buy a smaller pack and use them back to back with your preferred brand.

They won’t stick all night
These strips work as long as you only care about using them for a few hours. I use them to sleep at night, and 5 out of 5 attempts I woke up in the middle of the night with the strip stuck to one half of my nose and the other half completely detached, even after ensuring that I had cleaned my skin thoroughly and dried it completely before applying the strip. If you’re using these for sports then they might be ok, but they don’t have the long-lasting adhesive power required for sleeping.
